My personal favorite, AC3

Connor goes through such moral dilemmas, reminds me of AC1
How most of the time the Templars were the bad guys, and listening to them actually makes you question your choices as an Assassin. Connor is a bit naive and doesn't understand how things work but grows later on.

I've learned so much about AC3's parkour and the depth to it is nice.

Like normally in AC3, there's no parkour down button. Yet it's still implemented, and in this game it's tied to tackling. So if a guard is below you and you parkour down, it will tackle the guard.

Getting the whole army on you, which isn't nice

To prevent this, simply hold parkour down from a surface Connor can't stand up on

like poles, and signs off buildings

trees, etc.

I actually had to stop using the Negev because I got too good with it

It felt too cheap to use

Now I’m using the Nova and the SSG

The Nova, despite literally every CS player saying “yeah, it’s pretty bad”, it has really tight spread and can one shot people at point blank, and has an amazing ability to hit headshots

The only downside to it is the pump action

When it comes to stuff like that, can't always trust what everyone says, gotta experiment and find what works best for you and your individual playstyle

The SSG is a great sniper, oneshots on headshot, has great wall penetration (I’ve hit like 5 headshots through walls despite having no clue where they were), is incredibly fast, good accuracy, and fires pretty fast for a bolt action sniper

I only started using it because my friend started playing recently, went with the nova because he thought it was a noob gun

It’s hard

One thing you’ve gotta be careful with in CS is to not use the same gun every time

It can get you caught in a specific play style, which can make it hard to use other guns

You also have to be careful about not getting to angry

It just makes you a worse player

It’s a vicious cycle, you can’t get caught in it. I’ve got other tips for playing CS, but I doubt anyone here actually plays it

I will say this, because it applies to other games, always do a warm up round or two

Also, CS is the game for sweaty players. In games like that, I always like to think that I don’t fall into the stereotypes, because I tend to take a “fun first, game later” stance

While I take it seriously enough to not be a complete idiot, I don’t spend hundreds of hours perfecting the meta

I will say, CS is a legitimately fun game for me. I willingly sit down and play it for a few hours a day. It’s not for everyone, and holy shit does it have flaws, but I will still play it

I had to uninstall Epic because I was trying to clean up my main drive, but I couldn’t access epic to view the games on it because I didn’t have enough space to update it

Screen Space Reflections are magic for how little they cost in performance relative to how good they look

Especially compared to raytracing

Honestly most games get away with just detailed textures, and bump maps.
well made maps can be enough to give the illusion of cutting edge xD
