I just had an idea for a game

It's an RPG City Builder, but you are cosmic being and while you can plan out the actions, you can not dictate how they will unfold. You plan out your buildings, then go into your chamber and sleep. From there on you're an observer of the building of the city/village and can control the flow of time to watch what is happening, but you can not interfere.

Depending on how closely you're looking down on your city, zoomed in to the person level to observe the relationships between your people or on a wider FOV where you can see the buildings rising up or the landscape changing, your concept of time passes differently.

The only time your time freezes is at very specific intervals of years or in the event of a cataclysmic event that compromises your vestibule and awakens you.

While awake, your city/village is frozen in time. Everything everyone is doing stops and you can observe and plan once again for the next period of time before returning to sleep.

Unlike your standard city builder, if you don't actually plan your city or village, it will still happen...You just won't have any say in its layout

Events unfold with or without you.

How ever committed you become to the people there is up to you, but the game tries to encourage you to care...You have worshippers...You have haters....Cults...Entire armies that rise up with your destruction in mind

If the armies succeed you don't die. You simply sleep much much longer and awaken to a whole new world that you need to rebuild around your mythos

Did you ever have problem with blooming in HD? Had to turn mine off because it made every white light blinding. Couldn't see shit under street lights.
