It took me sooooo long to get into herbalism in that game that I really didn't get a roll going until the game was almost over
Plants as weapons are pretty cool but I didn't get into it
I found that using plant based weapons made fights way too easy
Hard to be a bad ass spell casting wizard when you're playing kill count versus against a cabbage with teeth
...and that's what it ends up being. When you're able to use plants as weapons they are so OP that you spend more time trying to kill more than the plants do than you do casting plants
Namely because plant kills don't count toward your kills
It makes combos hard to pull off for long chains
