Ready or not spent a lot of time in the thick of tactical shooting but missed the mark in addressing what it alleges it was treating with respect. The serious nature of conflict resolution...and it's a problem they could've avoided if they'd spent as much time on story development as they did on level design.

Rise of Kong was published by a company that isn't even hiding what they are (GameMill) and developed by a company whose only fame is a platformer puzzle game. The only turd in that pile with any fiber is Forspoken because it wasn't developed by people who couldn't have done it justice. Its mismanagement was entirely avoidable.

Nearly all open world. Story things are just invisible to uninvolved players. It reminds me of maple story with its maps full of carefully segregated grinding zones.
The combat is more fighting game, with tightly limited dodge angles and timing.
The combat is really fun, though.
There's a map node web system that buffs nearby grinding. Without premium, the player has to visit every node physically to move them around.

Idk if it's because multiplayer scaling is insane or what (I've mostly been playing co-op) but after I beat that weird dude with the dragon hand solo and started playing co-op the entire game's gone to hell and most enemies take a billion hits even with a +5 weapon and they all kill me in like two hits even when I'm in the mid 20s level-wise
