and there's a ton of titanium and other precious metals

yea pretty much. theres 3 modes. missions, which wipe each time. outposts, which is a relaxed nonthreatening mode for the MOST part. and then open world which im in, which is increased xp, more threats, more weather events, etc. but basically the same as outposts.
