Seeing some reports of it not having a full planet size exploration could be a turn off for me

It just means you can land anywhere on the map, but the map rendered portion is 40km or something if the rumors are true

it would surprise me, since earlier builds has seamless transitions

However, for quality purposes, they may have opted for cells

That being said, it could just be like daggerfall, where its semi random cells, generated each landing, with a wall, with limits based off general paramaters

IE< land by a ocean, you get a partial ocean tile

I have no faith in Blizzard wht so ever... more specifically the D4 devs!
They spent years developing D4 with more then 9000 devs on the team, and the game is hot garbage not to mention the whole stash tabs bad code thing among many other things!
Then After release... they are recruiting new devs to work on completely redesigning D4 endgame, dungeons and seasonal content... no faith at all for D4 tbh.

And after seeing POE2 gameplay among other videos, not even going to bother wasting money on D4!

I prefer Starfield limited maps exploration with meaningfull POI's... then NMS unlimited planetary exploration with waste of time good for nothing POI's!
know wht i mean??? thing tht has always bored me about NMS exploration, is the fact tht theres no point... theres no objective, theres nothing to do!
But in Starfield we already know POI's will randomly spawn as u explore and are all hand crafted... the tilesets for the POI's in Starfield are handcrafted... and will be very very usefull to farm commodities and lvl up ur skills... thts "Something to do imo!".

Anyway, from all vids iv seen, there wont be atmospheric flight but we will be able to explore the entire planet by walking around! Wont know how true tht is until we see if for ourselfs...
Theres also reports modders will be able to MOD entire planets with whtever they want... meaning custom citties and wht not!
so its safe to assume, someone will MOD SRV's (exocrafts) into the game.

That particular camera lens settings are why you're not seeing all of the stars in the background. Funny thing using technology designed around picking up objects using their surrounding light to define their shape. As fast as light goes, the sensors in the device do not pick it up at the same speed. Often cameras have shorter shutter speeds and stops to prevent overexposure from that giant star in space nearby us (Sol) but this makes the rest of the stars basically invisible to the camera.

Sol's light is not yellow in space. It's white and literally blinding.
