No regrets about getting my XfX 6700. Its SO dang quiet!

Though, I ended up realizing, the cooling solution is literally the same as a 6700xt. So its designed to handle WAY more heat then it produces.

Been messing with voltages, 20 percent uplift so far.

For 260 bucks, plus starfield premium, cant go wrong

And now I have a good PC with a 3070 which runs everything at 120-144 FPS easely... So I also know the diference!

i run a server for a different game, and sometimes have to gently and politely tell them that their computer will not run the game(s) they want with the amount of DLC they have for it.

it's none of my business whether or not it's a "good computer", only to look at what they have & what they want to do with it and see if those values align.

sometimes i try and steer them a certain way - suggesting what combination of games/DLC/settings might work for them. a few times i've asked if they have a budget for upgrades & if they do i try and help them prioritise what to go for based on their location and desires.

but really if someone has a low-end computer that's their business. i invested a lot of money on my computer because as a disabled person it's basically my entire life. my brother invested much less because he plays a few roblox-like games for a few hours every couple of weeks.

Stellaris doesn't really hog RAM due to having a fixed area. Cities: Skylines is built on Unity and whoever made Unity needs a bonk.

Because they programmed Unity to load every single game asset into RAM before boot.

So you load save-game and the engine loads EVERYthing...

Even things not existing in your city.
