We're heading in to wide adoption of DirectStorage and AI upscaling.

yes however, optimizations only work to a point, theres only so much you can do before you just simply need to upgrade your hardware, no way around it, and the nature of some types of games mean that youre gonna need higher end hardware to enjoy them without fps lag, simple as that, voxel based games for example, the amount of stuff a voxel based game has to render in real time just for say, a few on screen ships or the terrain and terrain decoration around you on a planet

@arctic thistle Highly advise trying ffxiv its prob the most fair and respecting of ur time mmo wise i know. It gets good in heavensward only personal gripe is arr/2.0/basegame is extremely slow to get to first expansion and vast majority is fetchquests. But most of the setup lasts til end of main story arc. I cannot recommend it enough if u give it a chance

IGN isn't using AI to write their scripts. The story is about AI in gaming. The only mention of AI being used in writing is in supplementing Ubisoft writers with boiler plate writing for writers to use as inspiration (none of which are going to be used for primary narratives).
