LOW_FI is a massive open-world sandbox style adventure with action elements.

The emphasis is on exploration and character driven story. Like a holodeck program, the player is free to explore the city, further narratives, or just hang out in the arcade and spend their credits if they so choose..

Moral grey areas can be explored via player choice in most situations through their actions or dialogue trees. They can for example chose to take a bribe in a given situation, rather than arrest a criminal, or even frame a third party for personal gain.

You are free to fly around your entire jurisdiction (section 303). Credits are awarded during your shift for both time and for duties (busts, etc.). Credits can be used at black market shops, dark web delivery systems, vending machines etc., for anything from ship upgrades to bribes or just some decorations for your capsule apartment.

We really want LOW-FI to feel like a real world. Completely non-linear and open ended with plenty to see and do.

Nah! On my monitor any higher is unnecessary. I play on a 1080p, 60hz. Average FPS is 55, peak does roll over 60 a little and lowest goes down to 54-ish. Works for me without compromising any visual fidelity. DLSS is active, meaning the game’s internal resolution is already at 720p. Lowering any visual settings create unwanted artefacts I’m not willing to compromise with. These settings are perfectly optimized for my personal setup where the graphics card is performing at 25% more than factory all the time.

But too bad the devs are incompetent

The game had a lot of servers with only probably some thousand of players on each

They decided to combine every server into two big megaservers - International and French

On the day it happened it was very live and big

But the international server got infested with Elbor players

They're mostly latino people

What I mean to say is the game went downfall, because Elbor players focus on trading rather than playing in groups

And also the divide between communities

I've been shat on before in PSO2 back when it didn't have global. Used a VPN to connect, and an Australian player got pissed that an English player was playing their game

Riven economy is trash but thats because the value of a riven is collector's value
