After that you can influence or completely change the character (the latter not always to the most congruent outcome, hence my opinion on the matter).

Wanted to add that in sustainability there’s an “equation” as a sort of simplistic hypothetical model: Influence = Population x Affluence x Technology. It’s a general explanation of yes, high population will affect climate change, but affluence (impact of for instance one country versus another) also matters, as does whether technology available increases or decreases effects on climate change.

I've been just making custom characters that compliment each other at this time.

A bunch of specialists instead of jacks of all trades

I was worried for a moment when I made a melee character, but I gave her a ton of resistances to stats, evasion and made her the hacker. She wrecks everything and in a pinch can get in the face of a robot and take it down from the inside

She doesn't really use guns, but I also trained her to use small arms if need be.

I got a leader who is a sniper and also the the primary healer

He can lay down the first shot, get rally going, get in the thick and when he revives people because he also has the leadership perk it boosts everyone

I hope Xcom 2 is as good as wasteland 3 combat

The clamp part is intended for a tablet, so didn't grip small enough. I put a deckmate latch onto a piece of wood temporarily.
Turns out a generic ball joint gps mount adapter did the trick perfectly. Thing is flat, so I just stuck the deckmate to it

Realistically, consider how many games are made on the unreal engine and 30% of their revenues after 100k go to Epic.

Epic is one of the largest game development platforms on earth. They're so hungry to dethrone valve and Steam in the distribution department, they had to do something bold.

I don't know what their balance sheet looks like at the end of the day. They aren't paying what we pay for the keys for the games on their platform, if that's what you're thinking.

I suspect it's not even a flat rate, but rather a negotiated amount based on royalty agreements. IE- Pay Epic fewer royalties in exchange for having your title possibly listed free at some time in the future in a promotional event for a limited time. Since a game gets most of its profits on launch and shortly thereafter, this kind of agreement allows a developer to scrape off the highest % of return, while only losing a portion later down the line on sales for a week.

Some developers even gained more sales after their games were given away free, long after their launch. A sort of reinvigoration in interest. IE: Death Stranding in December of 2022

Despite the game being free on Epic, the interest in purchases of the upgrade of the title in December spiked massively across all platforms.
