I mean if you are use to low spec pc's I guess it's not bad but it's meant to be a mobile handheld gaming device

I have the steamdeck sadly not used it recently. I think I would of enjoyed it more if it had a OLED display tbh and at 1080P... Prob steamdeck 2 will be the sweet spot

I also play a lot of Indie games and I found quite a few them have just performance issues period and so you know bad coded games on a steam deck = 💩 .

depending on which games they are, it would be worth reporting those as bugs in the deck/proton issue tracker.

some devs are so lazy that they don't bother double checking that their native linux builds are performant

and unfortunately, this means that some game's windows build runs better on linux than the actual native linux build, making it worth trying to run the windows build via proton aka steam play

one could add "vote with your wallet, support the ones who properly support you"

at this point, i don't even care about "no tux no bux" anymore all that much, except when in extreme cases that the devs just deserve that kind of attitude

personally, if a dev goes to the extent of properly supporting Linux even it's through Proton/Steam Play, as HG does, then they can get my money

Like....I get people got shit to do but back when I started warframe, you could go hang out in social areas. People were around doing social things. Talking...even playing music.

Mind you Warframe doesn't seem to have that anymore, either

My experience disagrees somewhat with that. But not my job to be marketing for D2 lmao you’re obviously free to play whatever you like. I feel like gaming in general has gotten more disconnected. Lots of friendly social people, great clans and lfg, if you look for them, but I do feel like something’s missing from the social aspect of MMOs in general

I think a lot of it has to do with how the overall online mentality has changed. My brain is a liquid rn so I don’t know if I’m wording right but it really feels like there’s less interest in enjoying the moment and having a good time w strangers and not necessarily being as productive and optimized as possible

It’s hard to keep up with the flurry of content and ideas and opinions
