I'm not a harry potter fan and barely follow the lore, but that's really not required to enjoy the game. It's a lived in world with its own lore, only paying homage to the story in easter eggs, not making any homework necessary to get into it. So I find myself getting more wrapped up in the exploration of a wonderfully realized world design

On the Ps5 version (I dunno about other versions) interactions with other characters will constantly have lighting issues. The lighting will normally be kind of a warm pleasant hue, natural/believable, but it'll randomly get much brighter and hues will become more washed out.

Hmm! Playing on PC I’ve not had such issues at all. In fact, for some good reason I haven’t had any issue reported by the HL community in forums and videos, except one where the legendary chest will not open again if we try to open it with full inventory.

@primal loom It's not as bad as the reviews suggest it is. It definitely needs work. Camera hangs on the character too tightly making movement feel exaggerated. The dialogue is so out of character, it threatens to ruin the sense of it being the west at all - Making snide remarks about modern day technology and quips about standard etiquette today that would not had been a staple in the west.

It has a very simplified input system.

There are some optimization issues but they aren't dramatic and can be fixed for the most part with a basic understanding of graphic settings. The game doesn't start you off with the best settings to start with, so understanding what your system can do helps a lot.
