I'm a little confused by a graphical glitch that appears in Hogwarts

There appears to be some sort of global illumination bleed through the geometry

Fixed it

It's an illumination map that adjusts with global illumination

Any global lighting can effect it and touching the map anywhere in that cell triggers the whole texture map

So I changed Min, Mid and Max ToneMapLuminance to 0

GameUserSettings ini file located in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

If you change the graphics ingame, it will override that file

So keep that in mind if you decide to dick around in the games settings. Could undo any changes you do manually to the file.

I set the ingame graphics as I like then manually disable that tonemapluminance

Tons of puzzles and exploration opportunities.

Loot has a RNG to it in-so-far as you can find different clothing items on different playthroughs, making you look different incidentally, but you can also just hold out and transmog to look how you want....

So could be the same each playthrough if that's your thing.

All in all, if exclusive content isn’t a major concern, the Xbox Series X version of Hogwarts legacy delivers the best possible performance on consoles in Performance High Frame Rate mode on a 120Hz display.

Ps5 is the weak sister this gen
