I kind of hate the principles they're using for MP in My Time at Sandrock
Players will now use special equipment invented by Qi to enter the Meta area world (Multiplayer) and experience a "semi-fictional" version of the history of Sandrock as compressed stories happening 50 years before single-player events. Due to this, some events and NPCs might differ from the single-player story.
It sounds to me like they're trying to write off bad design decisions.

I kind of hate the way discoveries for species are made for the purpose of trying to "encourage exploration". The reward is currency...It's bread...It's not worth doing, to me but I like having a library of species, which I can't get in any other way.
I'd prefer an expedition type mission for my other ships to do, to explore and find those species, then instead of giving me useless currency, lemme stick the species discovered into an aquarium or something

I've been finding signs asking for roads in areas I already built up roads, but the signs have 0 likes. It is my hope that bridging the player, they'll gain access to my routes.
