its on-rails and honestly its not a bad game if you come at with no previous knowledge of the fact that the original reveal of it was a 'free roam' space shooter.

To be honest you're better off looking into Everspace 2 if you want the experience 'free roam' space stuff OR the game CHORVS (which is a lot of fun too but the narrative and protag with her inner monologue whispering the whole time can be a bit annoying)

Well after playing gedonia for a while I like it I noticed that the beginning area is pretty basic in fact the entire game is basically like Skyrim only simplified a lot
Very clearly an amateur programmer that had just started to play and make games
Yep the finished product is pretty fun you also noticed that the further you get into the game the better and better the map gets so clearly he was learning
It's like you said he plans to go back to the beginning areas and probably do some more polish up

I can imagine. When I played NFS Most Wanted, the toll-booth challenges were a PITA to get.
Still are, most likely, on a stock game.
The higher-end ones were sometimes impossible.
Best one is the final toll-booth with the Lamborghini Gallardo.
You get at-most 2-5 seconds upon driving at full speed through a toll-booth (which kind of makes sense since most of it is on Highway 99 and 201)...
And you eventually get a full minute, but that's after 60% of the race being at a very tight tolerance.
Even worse is the one with the Porsche Cayman.
The very first toll-booth is a disaster.
And if you aren't there with 10+ seconds to spare, you've lost it right there.

Well, like I said...no PSU to run it, so it's not really an upgrade.
Current PSU is failing, got another 400W to replace that, and that's it.
And let's not forget how it's air-cooled and my whole CPU is full of dust...
