Love the game, but it's pretty rough around the edges tbh. It had a very troubled dev cycle and while the major issues have been patched out, it still shows all over the place - basic stuff, like the complete lack of music in all hub areas, odd facial animation rigging, story dialogue lines being triggered only by location so you hear them literally every time you return to that spot even after a quest is complete, not getting exp because you shot an enemy from too far away, there's just tons of stuff like that
Some of the moral choices throughout the game aren't very well thought out and have no real consequences. For example, the Nexus protest in hydroponics with people trying to get their families out of cryostasis immediately instead of following protocol. You can 1: Break up the protest, or 2: Let their relatives out of cryo. Option 2 would risk the entire Initiative to starvation, thawing everyone out prematurely would be catastrophic without the proper resources and logistics to support them yet there's no actual downside to making that choice
All that being said
The game is visually stunning and the crew is great, they have an amazing amount of dialogue and the loyalty missions are awesome. I think some people hated it just because it wasn't about Shepard lol

Personally...music wasn't a big deal...a silent hub's just as good. GTA on foot...no music, just general ambience. Facial animation...agreeable, and there's still some weird things, but...hey, not game-breaking. Dialogue lines are a mess, but if it's about SAM announcing hazard damage and such...personally, I prefer it, but I've seen a lot of people annoyed by it. As for quest lines...not sure about those, TBH.
And not getting XP...I haven't noticed, but my fights've been close-range, so maybe it's just a thing done from sniper distances.

If you put kinetic servos in you give up optimized legs. Testing them, the optimized legs offer far more bonus than the AP regen perk from kinetic servos
