According to DHW, interceptors take their colors from the main palette, just like the rest of the ships
The difference being they can spawn in: orange primary + palette secondary, purple primary + palette secondary or palette primary + palette secondary
Next week or two i bet we will see a color mod for the interceptors

You know what would be aces? A small program where they have each of the suit voice lines listed, and you can insert a MP3 or WAV of your own next to the line you want to replace, and the program generates a WEM with the correct corresponding line number. I've spent the last 2 days doing this by hand and it's so slow! (Well, to be fair I did generate each line, ran those lines through a filter then ran those filtered lines through audacity to normalize the volume) I'm still in the process of matching clips to lines, but we're at the home stretch now, after they all been renamed, I can run them through wwise and convert them to WEM, then I have to re-PAK them and I'll be ready to roll!

I have the utopia speeder from save editor and trying to claim it.. but I haven't done the expidition

2- Custom black hole (gargantua)
3-Ship scrapper thing on freighter

5- 25x Squad damage (make them usefull)

Ive been watching some kanaju videos on YT and a lot of the suggested changes to areas of the game I feel could make great mods since hello games currently seems more focused on expanding the game rather than reimplementing cut features or atmospheric and diversity improvements
One thing his videos keep throwing the idea around for are procedural planetary dungeons since we know procedural dungeons are possible in space
Additionally I also found out that there used to be special hostile fauna that inhabited caves that looked like spiders and crabs?
Plus that caves used to have more resources in them than on the surface to encourage underground exploration
we cant do that yet with current mod support i think

I was hoping modding was a bit more open for no mans sky other than being able to inject values into the game or injecting new textures. But Im also not too suprised that the game is really closed source at the moment so all players can see is very surface level and not any of the game code

I'm using this tool called PSArcTool to repack my mod, but when I loaded up the game, the mod didn't work. I decompiled it and for some reason, instead of /Audio/Windows/English/ect, it decided to include every single file and folder from my /user/ folder on up! So it's /user/me/desktop/ect.. so it's incorrectly formatted and doesn't work. But I have no idea how to fix it.
Absolutley, Like it might be because I am a huge fan of speculative evolution but I would love to see conditional features for biomes that would allow the procedural creatures that spawn in each biome to look like they belong in that environment. Granted they would still have the same overall shape as creatures on other planets but It would still go a long way at improving exploration when one can expect that creatures on an ocean planet would look amphibious or aquatic and creatures on magmatic planets would have their own adaptations to help them survive the heat

Overall I just feel like the player base is holding interest because of the content updates but that dips inbetween each one and people would be holding a lot higher interest if the game encouraged exploration rather than everything being the same

Yeah I haven't messed with audio files at all, but I would definitely guess they would need to be in the language subfolder

It didn't work putting the audiofiles in the windows folder, but that's exactly how the silentvoice mod is setup, granted I haven't tested to see if that one actually works yet however

I've never seen anyone talk about the base stats for maneuverability on a ship as seen in the save editor, while the damage, shields, and hyperdrive values have appeared in YouTube videos and the like. I'm wondering how the maneuverability value translates to in game, and if anyone knows what the different ship type stat ranges for it are, because I can't find the info ANYWHERE.

Yes it's a bonus put on ttop of the base maneuverability. The base itself depends on the seed. Hyperdrive and shields for example don't depend on the seed

@glass gate If I'm not mistaken, you'll need to add the itemIDs for each part in PlayerStateData\KnownProducts, unfortunately I dont have those handy.

THAT ISSUE I WAS HAVING WITH SAVE EDITING KILLING MY MULTIPLAYER WAS FIXED BY ME
OKAY, so what I did was make a new file and checked the raw .jason file to check the "version" and it wasn't the same as my save file with the issues, so I changed it from 5680 to 4656 and it fixed EVERYTHING

Which Save Editor did you get?
Select the Multitool tab, then right-click an empty slot and choose 'Add Item'
Type 'Incinerator' in the search and it should list it. Select it to see it added to your MT. Of course if you have additional multi-tools, you may wish to select another first. Finally make sure to save your changes and then load the game to check it out

Not really. There is / was a mod that removed the stutter when leaving a planet, but you'd need to make your own version of it, since it wasn't updated for Interceptor version of the game

What you need to do is delete or hide https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/2753, then setup as a collection, https://next.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/collections. Collections are official and allowed by NexusMods rules, ModPacks are not unless you have express permission (either via permissions set on the individual mod pages or via verifiable communication with each and every mod author in your pack). If in violation, NexusMods will delete your account and ban for violation of ToS.

search for goat fungus save editor on google
in the github page bottom, you should see "download lates version"
download that
load a save, account tab and check the box of what you want on the Season Rewards, then save the edit.
When you open the app you will select you save file location
choose the option acount as shown in this print

If the mod .pak is not updated to current, there's an Lua script, which you can run through AMUMSS and it'll produce an updated version of the mod .pak. On the mod page, look through the POSTS. I posted a link to the Lua last time the mod was updated.
@vale iron just wanted to ask, I saw the lighting mod got updated, were there any changes to the PAK files or did you just upload the LUAs for them?

If you are talking about this part
The 2x and 10x items files are NOT COMPATIBLE with multiplayer. When the numbers get that big, HG stores them differently in the save file, which then blocks upload of your base. I don't think there's anything I can do to prevent this issue, so if you player multiplayer, use the basic level items file.

If you have access to NMS on Xbox / Game Pass PC, I think you can save edit those. If you have Game Pass Ultimate, you also get cross save between console and PC.

Only way to mod or save edit for Xbox is via PC route.
If you have Game Pass Ultimate, which is the only way to get NMS to cross save between the two. You'd install NMS on the PC (logged in with the same account that's on Xbox console). You'd have the PC sync the files from Xbox cloud. You'd backup those files. And then use a save editor like Goatfungus, which is linked in a pin in this channel...

since we don't have a "glitch" channel, I'll drop this newfound trick I figured out here. So It turns out you can do the refiner dupe glitch on your freighter no problem. Also, you can dupe the output as well as the input. I put down the first refiner, then input some tainted metal, started the refining process, then immediately glitch placed another 15 (doesn't matter how many) refiners on top of it. Then once the refining was done, I picked up all the refiners, duping the output of 250 nanites. The Best part is it doesn't flood your inventory with a bunch of duped tainted metal. But if you have a ton of tainted metal already, this is an incredibly efficient dupe glitch for nanites
well, only half the 250 tainted metal is turned into nanites, so when you dupe, you do get a bunch back, but at a slower rate than the nanites

so once you've save edited the save files on PC. do make sure you make your own backups in case anything goes wrong. you backup the whole folder if you're unsure what's what. anyway, once you've save edited the save, you can sync the file again to the cloud. and then when you log on with your xbox, and it syncs the file from the cloud, you should have the edits done on PC.

When sharing saves in a report to Hello Games, it is best to create a package/archive of the full folder shown for your platform above (.zip/.rar).

oh got ya. for backing up, you can grab that whole folder wgs. save it somewhere that nothing will touch. the save editor makes its own backups but you always wanna play it safe since there's room for human error when learning how to use the save editor. you can grab another copy of that and point goatfungus to edit the save file in that separate location. then you can manually update the wgs in the game pass folder that will sync to the cloud when you feel ready. if anything goes wrong at some point, you can always go back to the very original backup you made. and do give the PC and Xbox enough time to sync the files, making sure both platforms confirm the sync's been successful before testing things again on xbox.
So just copy the wgs or save folder and save it on the desktop?
the wgs is what contains all the important save files, yeah. make copies of it. one as ultimate safe backup, nothing touches it. the other one for save editing that you can have goatfungus point to. when read, and all done save editing, copy that over back the location pointed to above, the one that game pass will sync back to the cloud. open the game on PC for sync to take effect. after that, you can log off PC. and should be able to log on xbox, when you try to open nms, xbox should show that it's sync'ing files. do remember that for NMS on Game Pass, this type of cross-platform cloud access only applies to Game Pass Ultimate

If you use Vortex on that, it installs all versions. You need to open the zip and pick one of the versions. Right now, it's trying to load like 8 different versions and the one winning doesn't have scaling. Open the zip and manually put Items Basic in your MODS folder, remove the other Items files
Vortex doesn't work well with NMS. It's a lot simpler to just manually move the mods in and out of MODS folder
Just drag Items Basic 420a.pak into the MODS folder

Installing mods is not hard, there is a pinned message with instructions on how to do it. Like Gumsk said, you're better off copy-pasting the files manually instead of using Vortex.

Select PC so you can navigate through the directory structure to get to wherever you saved an extra copy of wgs. Not the safe copy. But the one you'd edit. So technically, to be the safest, you'd have 1. Extra safe backup untouched copy 2. Another copy where you can point Goatfungus to 3. The actual copy that Game Pass syncs with the cloud

oh so should I make a backup that I need as an emergency if the save doesn't work and a copy to use the save editor, when I'm done with the save editor should I swap the original save folder to the save editor save folder?
