my guess on the station core: the core mentions a flightpath and efficiency both when interacting and on the patch notes. it also mentions 95% efficiency and there is 1 error in the UI. My guess is that it either influences the type of ships landing, the economy, or destroys the station so it turns it into an abandoned one. don't know, a wild guess.
