For me ... there's a distinct point at which No Man's Sky just completely breaks.
It's when you get your first freighter.
Buying an enormous ship like that seems like it should be a major achievement, like you've done a ton of work to be able to save up to afford something like that. It should be a big deal.
But it isn't. The game basically hands you the first one for free. You basically trip over it.
Since getting to that point had been my goal ... I was left without a goal and quit playing at that point.

Nope, it's name is "tainted". It's a rare infested desert biome, been round a while. But that bug is tameable.
