If I could make a suggestion I would suggest a new channel Called Waking Titan Updates, and for Waking Titan ARG to be turned from ARG to Waking Titan Discussion. Updates would have all the information from the beginning of the tapes and of waking titain up to now in text form. And only mods would be able to edit it to keep it nice and clean. It could also most likely help the issue with those constantley asking if there are updates. The latest message on update would have what the current status is. For example: "Waiting on final code" and "No updates as of now." A small issue with the WT channel is the pins. They are confusing due to many pins being deleted, containing newly added rules, and sometimes containing memes. This keeps information pertaining to the ARG from being at top as seen now with rules being at the top of the pins. The pins on the Updates channel can keep it more organized with having important links such as the keydecoder at the top of the list. Something else that could also help is adding channel information next to WT ARG, similar how this channel says "Server/subreddit suggestions", WT ARG would have check Waking Titan Updates for well updates.

Pretty lengthy but that is all for my suggestions.

True but even so the problem still persists. Many still ask if there are more updates even though they could check the reddit thread. Another channel right ontop of the WT discussions posting newly found information could probably lower the amount of times people are shut down when soething is already known or when pictures are deleted that already show information everyones figured out. Its all in theory though, theres no guarrantee it would work, just a suggestion.

although the voice channel does get overflown with people when stuff happens so another channel devoted entirely to the ARG might help keep the memesters in a seperate channel so more people can talk about the ARG. Also it doesnt seem like too many people use the voice comms.

@toxic hare to properly answer this: We're keeping #waking-titan-arg active because, as you said, the ARG stuff happened in there, but also because the puppetmaster said in an AMA that "the tapes are still in play", leading the mod team to believe there might still be more to them. As such, we've left the channel open, in the event that another subreddit moderator/Waking Titan player/average joe with cursory knowledge of NMS comes into possession of another tape.

--suggest rules and annoucmcments should be two seperate channels because the rules are rarely if ever modified and the channel is easy to find and read, that way new users can instantly find the rules and read them without scrolling up or anything and annoucments could be its own channel so then its neater.

there should be no lore channel. it should be with #waking-titan-arg with spoilers allowed at this point. we don't need a lore channel tbh, and even then none of those channels are named for that purpose and rather insinuated something entirely different that I have been threatened on multiple times for "breaking." for example, if #waking-titan-arg is meant for bugs and stuff, why not make a channel to categorize bugs named #bugs and make it simple by having one channel for 1.3 with spoilers allowed then?

again, this is overcomplicated. my suggestion is that you should have one definitive channel for spoilers and Atlas Rises discussion, and one separate for bug reports and other things (which isn't even needed given the fact that the Reddit, something HG checks more, has a thread on it.)

I'm fairly certain a month and ten days is enough time for anyone who's actually a fan of NMS to beat the story. And most people here are huge fans.

I only used a brief condescending tone because what the mod was saying made no sense for a mod to actually be saying that

and it wasn't really that bad. it wasn't meant to be negative and started off as just a suggestion, which spiraled into "I have no power to change this." so then why come to me saying what a channel desc is and then say, upon me revealing people aren't using the channel right, that you can't change it when you're a mod

I was, again, wondering what the logic was of this one mod. it doesn't make any sense for a mod to say that they cannot change how a user uses the stuff they moderate. this is why you moderate. that's the point of moderating. if you don't get that, don't be a mod. or learn it and stick to it. and what's worse is that if this is the actual detailing of how to use the channels and people are breaking it, how come none of the seven discord mods have said anything about it? just confusing
