Expedition 7 die hard tips [Information]
Ok people, first off if you do die you need to control your rage and stop lashing out at the game... It's a gene. The expedition is supposed to be hard! People have been goading HG that the game isn't challenging enough, and the survival players have been asking for this. If it really isn't your thing, just leave it alone.
Ok, next... Be Prepared!!! Weren't any of you all in the scouts ever!? It's like, the number one rule.
As a general rule in survival and PD, if you makes it off the planet, it's usually plain sailing. People dying late expedition... Probably anchor 4. But by then you should be pretty buff of you're installing the upgrades.
Here's some tips I felt were obvious but maybe not everyone knows:
Take it slow. Don't jet boost everywhere, and keep your eye on the meter you save enough jet for the landing.
Put a base at every anchor point! You can go back and teleport from any space station this way
Scanning things gives units. Units are easy to come by. You don't need a lot of units to buy ion batteries and life support gel, and you can carry a big stack! Never go anywhere without, and recharge often.
Don't do the 20 sentinel challenge in one go. Assassinate the lone guys, kill a few more, run!!! They deactivate really quick.
Similarly with the whispering eggs... But don't even think about attempting this one without three good shield upgrades. Don't hang around to fight them, just run and kill the ones that follow. Also, don't be fooled into thinking your minotaur mech has shields that protect you more. IT DOESN'T!
If it's really hard and you hate it, put the time into levelling up. Time wasted if you die... Sure. More likely to survive... Time not wasted when you make it.
I've got more tips but these ones are the common sense ones, and be honest, not everyone has been sticking to them, right?
Good luck, Loopers. You got this!
