@main dove you can't mark those space encounters, they disappear once you leave them (and there's no space markers or anything anyway)... But you can make a note of what system it was, as that system may give you one of those encounters again.

Building on volcanoes is HARD - most of the terrain is non-editable, so you have to build somewhere else, build over, and then get into your structure.
