vram = Random Access Memory for Video cards. It's what usually stores textures. They've gotten bigger pretty rapidly over time. Back inlike 2012, 2GB was a lot. Now 6GB is like minimum acceptable for HD gaming.

I don't think so - unless they've changed it, you can technically achieve slightly higher stats from RNG ships
An upgraded ship will have lower numbers than the max possible. For most purposes though, yes, they are the same

@elder sentinel Random chance unless you're in certain galaxies. Fly your living shio and pulse around. Eventually you will get a random encounter with a void egg in space. Shoot it and destroy it for an upgrade.
