I use metal flooring to level out the ground, and since it has an "X" right in the middle, just align my curser with that, delete the floor plate, and place the extractor/depot

@pallid flint some tips for bases do NOT delete the stairs until you are completely done and always build at LEAST 10 steps lower than the max.

Also build base terminal on the ground

Also like we mentioned above dont even bother with landing pads in sky. You can try but it tends to be iffy too.

Rip. I was kinda keen on how to make on but those are the tips you really need to know. Otherwise youll end up with half finished basse cause your terminal disappeared or base parts disappearing cause to high, etc.
