Thanks @cyan panther I've also have not remembered why I made the base in this system... its where a White Squid spawned... not sure if it still does as it takes about 30 minutes or so to turn up... I was in the wrong system for the Squid... I blame the age... 😉

i've hired 3 now
1 was destroyed in a 1 star mission
so i hired 2 more and sent them BOTH on a 1-star mission, and both came back in pieces, abandoning the mission
there's not alot of guidance with freighters either. i just learned that i can upgrade and warp with them. and i've got 100hrs+ under my belt now lol

Yellow/red/blue/green systems.. And planets in those systems... And for the other ones, they correspond to the details that are listed as text too (race, security level, economy type etc)
I'm not sure about that black/gold thing, I've seen a couple of theories, that I can't remember now, but no idea really. May be something like you have a mission there or something.

I've got most things on enhanced, or whichever the middle is. textures is one notch below ultra and I do ok at 20-25fps on lush planets 50 on sparse. I get vertigo with high fps, lol
