you need to have the save editor pretty much. its kinda like a cheat menu for the game lol. but i just use it to generate seeds. the seed is literally just the skin/look of the ship. changing the seed in the save editor doesnt affect the ship in anyway.

This was at my base. Also, when I teleported directly to my base, the ship ended up partially inside the landing pad (still did get teleported to the pad, though, which is nice).
The new place-ship-on-landing-pad feature has some glitches to work out still, but it's better than it was, especially since it was nonexistent.
