There's a lot of people that use that mod on PC. They can give you an egg from one. The "No Man's Sky Community" and "No Man's Sky Explorers" facebook groups have a lot of people that would be able to help out with that. You should post your photo in those groups and ask. It works with any animals that you can't normally feed and make pets.
