In any event, Creative does not teach a lot of basic mechanics because it skips them. Survival teaches them but you are constantly being distracted by surviving which makes a lot of them go right over our heads. I built my exocraft geobays fairly far from my settlement buildings, but over time it has constructed in that direction, so now I may need to move some a bit further away. Note the short-range teleporter exchange in the middle between the geobays and the NPC consoles.
