I haven't played NMS in a while. Last time I played, multiplayer was a bit of a mess. Missions were buggy as hell and targets often did not sync between players. Has multiplayer improved significantly? Is it real co-op or is it still a solo game with other players just there?

Speaking of settlements and things you haven’t checked forever and a day lol
I’ve been playing an old save, one I stopped playing on that I first made with custom settings back when waypoint dropped, accumulated like 350-400ish hrs on, then it started losing my discoveries, system by system (just the weirdest thing). So I started new saves, and hadn’t done anything with it.

Cue now, with all the bugs with Wpt2, I figured eh no great loss if something catastrophic happened so I’ve been using it😂

So I never make exocraft, well hardly ever…and I am using them as fish storage until I get everything unless I need some for helmets etc.

So I make one of them, and it’s full of stuff from my settlement lol😂 Those Geknip packets and some sort of tech, forget which, but your settlement pic reminded me of that (haven’t visited the settlement though lol)

You can either do nexus missions to earn QS, or ask in #nms-lfg-or-trades but offer something of equal value in return. If you don’t have anything to offer simply enable multiplayer and sit in the space anomaly. Someone will drop an egg in your inventory, eventually.

Settlements are at best a side quest to give you something else to mess about with. They can generate some income but if that’s what you really need, there are much better ways to make income. The most important variable to look for in a settlement by far I’ve heard is the highest population at start, since it’s hard to grow population. Other things can improve over time.
