at first it was pretty much going WOOOOSH every minute. because the 140 fan is way too slow. now only the 120 is providing rpm feedback to the board, and the 140 is slaved to it with no feedback, so its down to some woosh per hour...

It will keep going rounds like 300 rpm ..and a steady stream of air to cool the cpu...and keeps temps stable.

Update: Mum no longer in ICU but she's persistently groggy as they keep pumping her with pain killers. Stable but experiencing a state of mental incoherence that is worrisome. Could be related to the drugs or to the pain they are for.

When I visited her after the first incident that landed her there, she cried uncontrollably. I had to calm her down because the machines were going berserk. Said she thought she would never see me again

Now its clear this state of mind is persistent and she's depressed when I'm not there. I've visited every single visitation schedule that was open to.

Story Time!

Had another dream. This time i was in some weird military program and we were getting ready to go wingsuit. Beforehand they let us watch spiderman in a theater yet the theater didnt have the last 7 minutes of the film. I end up in some conspiracy onboard a hovercarrier and i end up going rogue and jumping off by myself. I go into hiding in some apartment in Atlanta. I travel a bit, meet a weird group of soothsayers. Hang out with them for a few weeks. Observe the wildlife. Find out the forest is being torn downcby giant corporate robots. I go back home. Buy a bike. Learn to wingsuit again. Then i somehow end up in New Orleans. My family finds me there, but i have to go back to Atlanta because i really want my bike and other stuff out of my apartment. No one believes me so they blow some golden powder in my face to see if im telling the truth and i am. I take a bus ride and end up back on the hover carrier where two of my coworkers are on board and i see them plant bombs just before they explode. I help prove them guilty before trying to punch one of them because he was involved in the conspiracy at the start. Then everything goes to black and i wake up

Here she was when we got her, since she was a surprise, we only had boiled eggs and chicken to feed her.

Now she gets whole ground carcass, whole prey items (frozen-thaw), chicken feed, high quality Ferret Kibble, tinned cat food, raw, boiled and scrambled eggs, veggies, fruits, seeds, nuts... Pretty much a bit of everything. XD

And this is a couple weeks after we got her where she started to stand, hobble around and eventually jump. As you see, her legs were still very bad and she was on antibiotics with regular antiseptic spray applied.

And now while her legs are still wonky and she cannot fully control one of her talons, she is doing much better and the infection has ceased.

We would have made a splint for her, but the fractures were too high.

Update: Mum is settled into a new area of the hospital where patients wait for surgery. I visited again last night. She was crying and said she was angry at me, blamed me for putting her there and started talking about this area of the hospital being where people go to die.

She said she wanted to go home. I tried explaining it to her, that not being in the ICU anymore meant she was getting better which is good and if she needed surgery in her condition, it was a lot better there than home waiting in case something happened.

She was able to get out of the hospital bed to go to the washroom with help and it was a whole other person after that point. The adrenaline pumping, she seemed to be in a much better place mentally. We talked speculatively about her options to cheer her up and got her a TV to watch for the duration in the meantime.

Three nervous breakdowns in two days...and counting.

In my opinion fan is better than AIO

I have a 240mm aio, I had to put the Vcore on 1.28 as my cpu ran hot. When i ran air I had my Vcore on auto and temps never went above 78c undr load. Given it's temps are cooler when the pc idles.

Yeah although aio dont go bad...but when they do....they give you lots of wasted time..money and effort.
