Here's my outlook, being a business owner and all.

Don't try to be"extra". companies want you to get in, do your job, and get out. They don't want someone to go the extra mile. You'll get fired for that at a lot of places becaus then they have to pay you for that. Sometimes. Again, it depends on the company, country, location, and occupation.

Going further then that,be overly confident, don't be afraid to ask questions, speak up, they'll notice things like that. I always did. Make it known you wan';t to get in, do the job, and get out. Businesses ar are a sucker for people like that. When you answer a question, try to give an answer you think others won't give. Think outside the box.

Also, try to obtain a position you aren't quallfied for.

They want to know if you can quantify your skills by asking this. They're looking for things like "business improved" or "repeat customer". Identifying questions that ask for quantifiable results makes it easier to return fire on those questions by asking case scenarios where quantifiable results had the biggest impact, like in turnover rate or meeting deadlines

If you answered, "got it done" and end it at that, they'll assume you aren't able to quantify your results. This might not kill your chances depending on the job but it prioritizes you below anyone that can.
