I still think it was the ISP reeling from the cyber attack, but more specifically I had packet losses constantly & the mesh network conflicting with the router's own Wi-Fi.

The mesh operates in a bridge mode for the hardwire so it’s not trying to assign IP I take it? The wifi IP it generates will be an internal one so that shouldn’t conflict.
