Anyone from UK here? I am trying to confirm the information I heard latkey about how it stop requiring PCR test and no need to quarantine if the resualts are negative, when you planning to travel to UK

Previously if you travelled to UK you needed a test before you got on airplane to travel to UK and then again when you arrived to where you was going once you arrived. You also needed to quarantine until you got negative PCR result from the test you did when you arrived.
Now you don't need a test before you get on airplane before coming to the UK. You don't need to quarantine whilst you are waiting for the PCR test that you do when you arrive to UK to come back with negative result.

they have to be capped at 50km/h (2kW) - or else they'll ban them from public roads until you get it re-examinated and confirmed as road legal

police sets up portable dyno's occasionally and picks everyone with scooters/mopeds/50cc's off the street to check their vehicle

especially ones like mine are very targeted in those checks- since these things are known to be pushed to speeds up to 130-140km/h

I agree with the government to a certain extent - they are legally allowed to only run up to 45km/h, but with all the margins applied, about 50 km/h, but they are required to drive on the road instead of designated bicycle lanes
Issue is, we have a lot of roads over here that have a speed limit of 60 km/h. If you're gonna drive 45 in a 60 zone, people in cars are gonna tailgate you and get annoyed

not to mention they often clutter said roads

definitely understandable, but it is also understandable to have a lot of people breaking the rules if you're trying to enforce a law that is fundamentally broken and just doesn't work

Here you're expected to pull right towards the kerbside of the road to let cars pass "safely". As you know riding yourself that's harder to do when you got folks waaaaay inside your comfort zone as they pass.
