This would be the second time I have had one removed from my face... The first one was small and near the surface of the skin though didn't cause any pain or swelling and just hardened under the skin.... This one is much worse...

i had a real dream where someone cut off both of my toes, i tried to keep it in place as they're only hold together by few strands of skin, and went to the doctor (surprisingly it didnt hurt that much), I asked them if they can stitch them or help me get my toes back before the skin cells died but they said it was "too late in the night" and the doctors weren't available, but i kept pushing until they said yes. After the operation i woke up with my toes back but they carved out some sections saying it was already dead. So yeah, interesting dream (not a copy paste btw, just interesting insight)

Yeah wasn't fun...
Lancing it open wouldn't have done anything because it had already ruptured under the skin so all they could do at that point was load me up with antibiotics... Had they taken care of it the first trip I made to the hospital it would not have gotten as bad as it did... But it's fine now. Very little swelling or pain left.
