I really want to be as understanding as I can be, while also keeping my mum grounded in reality but sometimes I gotta get into an argument with her just to remind her that her memories aren't all real now...That her dreams are influencing her memories and making reality difficult to keep in check.

Tried to tell me she used to live with two other guys. I'm like....Nope. Known you my entire life and before that you were married to x. I decided to turn off RAM Plus early instead of waiting the full 30 days. My initial impression was wrong, it actually makes performance worse.

​I noticed that with RAM Plus enabled, the system aggressively fills up the physical RAM (leaving me with only ~2GB free) and relies too heavily on the virtual RAM. Since virtual memory runs off storage, it’s much slower than physical RAM. Even under minimum stress, like having Discord, 5 browser tabs, and YouTube open, it felt sluggish scrolling through Twitter/Discord.

​Once I turned RAM Plus off, the sluggishness disappeared. Surprisingly, I now have 4–6GB of physical RAM available, and the phone feels much snappier without the overhead of the virtual memory.

It really is just the same old RAM Plus with the same old problems. At this point, I don't think they’ll ever be able to fix it or make it any better, it just inherently slows things down.

I just checked my Developer Options and I actually have my Logger buffer sizes turned completely Off. The neat thing about Samsung SSDs is that they basically ship 'unfinished.' Windows overrides the initial install with its own generic drivers, which is tech speak for 'half the speed you paid for' and you have to go hunting on Samsung’s site to find the real ones. I’m honestly not sure if it’s still a bug or just Windows being Windows, but there’s a random rabbit hole for your post.
