We've received well intended reports about members who sound way too young in voice chat as an example. Which puts our team in a challenging situation when a high pitched voice doesn't always translate to a member being under 13. And Discord makes it impossible to report said users unless they've posted an actual message in chat where they state they're under 13. It's literally the only way to report

Just my opinion.
Facebook, X and Discord seem to like putting the onus on the community even though they've profited enough to put things in place.
That's one of my issues.
It doesn't seem to allow for better community moderation because it's almost expecting people to do the work the company or a machine should have done.
They have grown from something smaller into something more widely used so they do need to spend the time looking into how they protect vulnerable people.
They haven't had the time that Facebook or more established platforms have had so they should be given some allowances.

I mean, if that was the issue, rule breaking behaviors or references, it's a very straightforward process for us. The issue with VC when it comes to under 13 kids is, we have no way to obtain "proof" without violating privacy laws. And as I mentioned, Discord doesn't provide useful means to report concerns to them unless there's an actual text chat message or DM.
