I read 1 and 2 when I was in like fifth grade then never touched them again

They get better as they go, I think he wrote the first one when he was like 16 or something, so as he got older he learned and got better at writing, so the third one is really good, but it's usually about the time I get to the third one that other things I would rather do start popping up and I lose the series
