Technical Question: I have a 4k monitor with G-Synch, I used my PC on 4k 60 HZ because my card supports that maximum but i game on 2k 144HZ, ig the G-Sync is always on, when I play on 2k does it bring my Hz to 60 as per my normal 4k resolution I use off gaming or it has nothing to do with it?

g-Sync works all the time but G-Sync synchronizes frames of whatever you are doing with your monitor, so if i am playing game on 2k 144HZ, how I understand it is that it will synch with my seeting off-gaming of 60HZ because it is in 4k in off gaming, I want to confirm if that is correct or not?
