Basically my senior designer and manager have kind of stopped overseeing me? Or well it's very less to the point where I keep forgetting to get my work reviewed from them and just directly dealing with my project manager or client

Like even when I try to show them they kinda brush me off saying I'll manage even though I don't feel like I'm ready to handle it all on my own

I've a weekly catch up meeting with the manager and the past few times he just talks to me about personal or casual stuff not related to work but with the others he gives them proper feedback on whatever they're working on and I'm making the same mistakes as my fellow designers but for me they're letting it slide (as in they don't even point it out)

One example - apparently we have a policy of not using very low res images even if the client does not have a higher res image, no matter what we shouldn't use them and make the report sub-par and instead look for some workaround

I did use low res images and they saw it later in my report and didn't point it out

But this other designer, when she showed her work in progress then they told her all this and she told me about it in a random conversation we were having

And it's not like I'm not receptive to feedback, I keep asking for it whenever I can and always took any constructive criticism properly

Hmm I think it will be ok to generally ask him tomorrow if he has any feedback for me after showing him some of my recent work and what I could have done better but not bring up any of the other stuff
