To add to what Oye said they are the three dominant species, but id say they each excel on one big aspect like the Vy'keen making the best fighters

Even when I connect the modules with a Teleport Cable, it doesn’t seem to activate — I can’t teleport at all.
Is this feature unsupported on Corvettes, or am I missing some setup step?
Its either bugged or not intended to work on corvettes

has anyone gotten the short range teleporters to work inside the corvette?
Any kinda build you enjoy is worth the effort fs even the dead ends because it usually teaches you more about the system and different design aspects you can carry over
Cant speak for the glitch side but from vanilla side they are non functional. Though i do wonder if the people that have glitched in normal base walls and such have had any success

3457.9 maneuverability with 2 floors of big hall ways. The super charge slots are everything. I have another corvette with 3759.1 so that will be my small one but so cool. This giant ship is crazy nimble

May have moved your tech and augments so get them back to adjacent order with your super tech slots. I always screen shot my stats in case of this. So I know exactly where to put everything back

I gotta do that constantly. It’s weird. Your stats are less when modifying but then resets to your highest real state once you are out of the modifier

if you 2 guys can do the same that be great, more reports = higher chance to fix it since i dont think its some hard to do fix
Copy this with your stats or remove the stats " Corvette normal stats are 3162.8, after log in they change to 2703.7, but this can be anything for anyone. Logging out didn't not fix it, but what fixed it was going to a corvette work station removing a part of the corvette not saving it and checking it again and it was back to how it was, SC slots are 3 pulse engine upgrades and 1 photon canon, figurines are polo, artemis, and tentacled figurine and sails are Plasma Trails."

there i did half the job for you just copy paste that, add your steam acc and that is it
you dont need to remove anything. simply enter build mode and quit immediately and the stats reset

I'm literally trapped at one end of my base because I used the teleporter to warp in and the ship is just parked on top of everything
if its a planet base, you can just select one of your walls and pick it up, walk through the gap, then cancel out of build mode and itll put the piece back
I've used the prebuilt habs for this base because it's not my main one
If you take a hallway out it removes the door
what happens if you grab the hallway while inside of it ?
it says you can't delete a part you're inside
I used a ladder to get out
It's just beyond irritating having to work around shit like this
Especially since the fix seems pretty easy. They could just not have corvettes land when you teleport. Having them hover high above with just a beam up marker in the base would eliminate issues like this

This is just a test vehicle, has 4 double thrusters at the back (8 individual trails), 4 wings as you can see and 3 mag landing thrusters

Yes corvettes as a feature is a permanent addition to the game
How many weapons fire now?
When you finish it, you have the option at the expedition station to transfer into your main game some of your inventory, your multi tool and purchase your corvette from exp19... otherwise, just start a new one from scratch

Phaser Beam Turrets cycle through the Photon Cannon same way its turrets do, while Photon Cannon Turrets fire phasers at the same time as the PBTs

Probably not implemented, but it is notable that the ballast tank in particular has the exact same icon the Zenith-class reactor. So if that's the one you want you can just add a reactor instead.

If you are looking for a farming method:
Set corvette to autopilot while in atmosphere. Go stand off the edge of your boarding ramp and scan for salvage. When you locate one, ping it and jump back onto your pilot seat: you can shoot the canisters in flight.
guys. i need help. after i finished the expedition i started redoing my ship and I started working on the same ship (i just removed everything from it with X and started placing it again from 0) . now, when i was looking to place some guns down again, the cannon i got from the expedition (which was equiped to the ship when i ended the expedition) is gone. doesn't show up anywhere... is it lost forever?

I can build an endlees amount of that cannon, without having the cannon object in question since it's an unlock. Unlike all other pieces it isn't an item, but something you craft when you attach it. It should be listed among your other weapons if you've unlocked it.
Anyone know why any targetting UI won't show up when im using my corvette like hovering over cargo pods or turrets wont show names/contents. But when I leave my seat and hover over them on foot the contents shows

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but I suspect the answer is that scanning in ship and on foot is different?

Im trying to farm cargo pods on freighters, but when I'm piloting my corvette and hovering over them it won show any UI or its contents not even hovering on turrets. But when I get off my corvette > open the hatch ond hover over them on foot, the UI shows the contents.
I'm still not 100% sure what you mean, but it's normal that the UI is different when on foot and when piloting. What you need to do is to look at your target and hold E to mark it. That way it will still show up while piloting
see how the "Cargo Pod, Magnetised Ferrite" is showing. I don't see that when im using my corvette and hovering over the pods

Oh, am pretty sure thats because 3rd person targeting is heavily misaligned, you have to aim above the thing you are targeting to see that prompt

I don't remember if I did this step or not, but given that you don't see it I assume this is a thing you have to do. Go to the anomaly and chat with this fellow. Select option 3.

idk about anyone else but i have to be inspired to create a cool looking ship otherwise it looks horrific
with some mod the engine is stacked, but slot is still limited

I farmed parts for 5 hours and then made do with what I had / did some last minute trades for extra parts
tbh making it in creative and manually listing all the parts you used is a really good way of going about it

It really isn't that bad if you do it efficiently. Equip a cyclotron ballista (photon cannon works too, but less well) on a corvette and just go to a planet with salvage (you can see it listed by looking at planets from space) and a reasonably flat surface. You don't ever have to get out of the ship. Just stand up, scan and mark the next salvage, fly over and blast it and repeat. Hotkey getting out of the seat without landing, and go into first person to remove animations too.
I like the covered engines look, makes them look bigger and more powerful

This damn thing can hold all 10 storage racks, 1 refiner, 1 mission radar, 1 nutrient processor, and still has 1 wall available for something else. I put a berth.

Because cockpit actually registers as a medusa, so 2 medusas and 1 cockpit
Put the cockpit adjacent to Medusas, they benefit

I have done some stress test on the corvette modules.
Looks like practically only the habitation module is responding for extra loading time and lag when loading a corvette.
The rest of the modules, be it decoration, engine, landing gear, all of them did not contributes to loading time whatsoever.
Meanwhile habitation modules and ANY modules that could modify the walls of the habitation modules will GREATLY contributes to the loading time.
Felt like HelloGame should have change the Module Complexity limit to just count habitation/walkway modules and landing bays.

Im struggling to understand parts class tier from C to S. Are specific class tier like S, tied to a specific part in the category or can same parts have different tiers as in its RNG what tier you get?
There were a glitch where every building part got counted to the complexity.
Now only corvette modules/modules that can be find in the corvette workshop are counted.
And so I performed a test with a 512 Corvette complexity limit with one spamming >500 double habitation modules and another one mostly spamming weapon and engines.
The Engine/Weapon spam took <1 second to load while the habitation module spam corvette took over 9 seconds on PC to load, and straight up crashed on my HX370 handheld.
I done that in a system with no other player and never enter the Anomly with multiplayer on, so no accidential casuity.

Just don't use vortex for modding in general, look up the wiki or discord modding channel for help, and follow their instruction on how to mod, you will encounter far less problem than hoping vortex doesn't break anything.

That's how I discovered the 360 hab rotation. Someone else discovered the snap 90 degree rotation, though.

Ahh sick. The only issue with the offset method I found is it sets your ship landing location back a bit. But you could totally make it land you at the back of the landing pad right next to the teleporter if you wanted to.
