u can do this by making a corvette with minimum parts, and then making a new corvette on a different landing pad but instead of making a new one, remove the excess parts from the old one

Is there a way to recycle your Corvette parts. Like completely dismantle the Corvette. I built an absolute junker during the expedition and now that I'm back in my main save I'm trying to reset so I can build from scratch. I know you can delete every piece while editing but it won't let you exit the editing mode without a valid ship

Yeah I'm just flying around in the Corvette. I get up from the cockpit then look around with my visor and tag some salvage, fly over to it, shoot the ground and collect it. I've already got a ton of stuff in a short time. Though I've heard there are rarer modules that you can only get from derelict freighters or fighting pirates

the starship wreckage serves nicely as like tendrils and tentacles while giving it a pseudo warped metal effect with the various creature heads you can use as sacs and whatnot.

Bit of a long shot, I know, but I was wondering if there's been many glitches found for building? I'm mainly looking to hide some of the necessary modules but I'm curious about any others as well.

I found this a couple days ago, allows me to centre things in-between blocks (to a certain extent) and it works great. No doubt someone's figured this out long before me but I'm still proud of myself for figuring it out xD

I did clip some stuff inside the square reactor a couple updates ago, but that's been patched 🙁

I'm not a professional, but as far as I know, huge changes in power at a time are dangerous. Though usually just to the PSU.

Yeah. WHen the power comes back on after a cutting it off hard, you stress the thing.

I HAVE lost PSUs to that, but they were way back when I was dirt poor and used bad PSUs with no name

PRetty sure decent brands can handle stress better but yeah, I still wouldn't risk it.

Yep. So they're built so that if electricity is about to kill your system, it takes the bullet first. If that fails, motherboards take the bullet next.

If you have parts in your bag, you can move them to and from the parts storage. But only the parts. Not any other items.

If you have parts laid out on the hangar because you're building, they won't appear in either screen.
