Space Engineers customization is off the charts, with the biggest limit I would say is that the 2x2 meter block wide for large grid ships.

I love space engineers dgmw but I feel like if they added that level of customization it should just be an option. I.e. being able to pick a "simple" Corvette editor (starfield/what we have now) or "advanced" (space engineers level of freedom)
Space engineers is a dope game but it is pretty in-depth and a lot of people might not want that much work needed just to run the ship

the trick is a low gravity airless planet with no sentinals or vile brood that has salvageable scrap. 2 boxes of parts in an hour

Is there a way to remove a corvette module's tech presence without removing the part itself? I'm using 4 landing gear on my current design since it's based of a large dropship, but having 3 different b-class techs for a system I barely spec beyond auto-charge is annoying.

Get the scanner room in freighter base. Warp usuing freighter to yellow star systems. When you arrive, go to the scanner and see which planet is lush. If none then just repeat to yellow star and try again.

I can guarantee you no. There is not. This ship alone has to have nearly 30 hours into it. I have sliced and diced and squeezed and jammed every part into place with thoughtful precision. And then I tore it apart and did it again and again and again

Always design in creative to make a good build you want and get an estimate on what parts you need in survival. This is common practice in From the Depths, Avorion, Space Engineers etc

Just thought of something, what happens to things in corvette storage if you modify it and remove the hab the cargo is in? 🤔
My assumption would be it refunds whatever's built inside the hab and then it'll appear again when you place down the respective cargo rack again
