Little tip for everyone. With the new multitools. If you have a mining beam installed on the same tool as the runic mining been. It does 10 k damage to enemies and also instantly mines whatever your mining . And it never has you stop. No cooldown

The Random Supercharger slots a Staff starts with change with the Head also. I think that's because it also changes the Class.

The Supercharger Seeds, the ones you get as you upgrade, are in fixed locations.
Seed 1=Row 3, Column 3
Seed 2=Row 2, Column 3
Seed 3= Row 1, Column 5

So find the look you want, go to a ton of different sites until you get a promising layout, then check if the upgraded version is good enough?

Find the one you want and check where the Random Superchargers it starts with are located.
We know where the Superchargers slots are located as we upgrade. So we know what Random Supercharger slots we need to make a SQ, T, L or Rhombus.

each terminal assigns a different color to the top part of the staff. and the top part of the staff dictates the colors of the rest of the staff

also, just a heads up, any staffs made normally wont show their colors in multiplayer. other players will see it as blue/teal

Non upgraded is very hard to tell. The damage bonus may kick in at any Class, even C Class.
The stat to look for is Damage Potential at 483.3 at S Class. With ALL WEAPON modules removed.
483.3 at S Class is the highest Damage Potential number I've seen

All atlantid multitools have a cloak built into their unique mining beam tech (that i can’t for the life of me remember the name)

The cloak can be activated like any other secondary tool on the multitool.

I’m not sure if it’s just me thinking it’s lasts longer than the normal cloak, but i think the runic lens lasts longer than the normal cloak

fun fact, i tried surveying the planet for a higher class but it seems that different monoliths have different sc slots for some reason

im not sure if its intended or not but it was kind of weird since its the exact model

didnt happen with the experimental tool i found at sentinel pilars, they all have the exact model and layout

It works the same as interceptors, model is the same for all however each monolith changes the SC slots and class.

Tool models on the other hand can be changed to match another specific model if you save and reload on another planet or space station.

It’s a fun way to farm the same model just if you want to try for better SC slots.

As an example of saving on other planets to change the model, that can be shown in this post.

The same monolith will always have the same SC and inventory layout so you can effectively save and reload on each planet to get a design you like and pare it with a decent SC layout.

Only the head seems to affect stats. The rest are cosmetics.

Even after the best upgrades I could find, my Sentinel rifle is still better overall, even at mining, than both my Atlantids. I'm gonna have to get on the cords exchange and grab one with 3 or 4 adjacent supercharged slots before I get too excited about these new Atlantids. So far they are just cool looking and that's about it.

I can’t give any info on staves I haven’t spent enough time to learn about them both in game and outside, so i can’t tell ya.

All i know is the staves stats, sc slots and class is dependent on staff head, autophage camp and planet

So tbh if i can assume, the head component is what determines the class of the staff and its stats.

Each autophage synthesis terminal will have its own colour schemes and determine the SC slot for each head piece.
