That's not a bug, they have to learn how to play and what buttons do what. I will probably make it a let's say shortly to step to trip. Press a button, UI Confirmation shows up, press confirm it's tripped.

if i recall correctly the poster says they cant interact with critical (critial) switches because it was intended to not allow them to trip / untrip but the great isaac proclaimed
"what thats stupid" because if you cant untrip anything you cant untrip the turbine which is kinda important
