My suggestion is simple: add a switch in private servers, and in private servers only, where the owner can toggle on or off all safety systems. The safety systems include but are not limited to:

  • Offsite Power Loss
  • High/Low Dissolved Mineral %
  • High/Low Generator Temperature
  • High/Low Oil Pressure
  • High/Low Oil Temperature
  • High/Low Hydraulic Pump Temperature
  • High/Low Generator Excitation
  • High Generator Vibration
  • High Generator Speed (RPM)

I think a UI should say that this cannot be enabled unless the turbine is in an operational and safe state.
