Sadly, this was something I reported during the 5.10 beta timeframe. I was told it was fixed. I guess not. 🤷

reason I asked was because it's a new "feature" for security where automatic replies to group chats are suppresed after tool calls. To stop the bot leaking sensitive info, it is forced to use "message_send". There's a setting you have to change if you want regular behaviour in group chats (like Telegram, or Discord channels). It might be like that as default idk but it's an easy fix.

For telegram, it was just dm’s. For discord, the bot wasn’t even showing online in the server
