Gateway not running
PC, let me see the specs (its an old pc tbh)
windows?
๐ชฆ
lolll
do you have access to codex by chance?
(just trying to expedite solutions for you)
Chatgpt codex?
yeah
yeh
get the codex app installed on the machine; and have it guide you (or even just fix it for you):
https://developers.openai.com/codex/app/windows
it would probably be the fastest route if you wanna get online (personally I didn't see an issue with that particular release but I had a pre-existing instance running (and I build directly from dev/main lol)
oh okay let me ask codex if it can do that
codex can do....all the things ๐
(and no; not a shill, just someone that uses a lot of codex because it makes life easier lol)
what up
Whats the "minimal reqs" for openclaw?
eh; if you tell me the specs of the PC I can tell you if it will survive there or if you're going to have a bad time
Nombre del dispositivo DESKTOP-UA75OGV
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics (3.60 GHz)
RAM 8,00 GB (5,95 GB usable)
it is a shitty pc
tbh
HAHA
i'm going to have a bad time, ik ๐
ahh that's probably fine. the fact that its on windows aint great because windows tends to be a hog but it should be okay
I would say if it's yours and you can do whatever you want with it and you dont use it for anything else maybe consider installing linux on it (which I can guarantee should be fine)
but as is in theory it should be okay too
PC aint that bad -- AM4/DDR4 so it's not ancient tech
the pc is 7 year old i think
sounds about right
if you're not a tech person I would say dont bother with linux but if you are curious and want to tinker I say go for it
but it should be fine on windows in theory on that system
I would like to tinker, but this is the only PC I have and I have some important documents I really cant lose. And it is more than the GB i have on drive. I have a chromebook that I installed linux on it, but let's say that... it doesnt boot anymore
also, I'm only going to use it for email automation, Google Photos and the Google ecosystem and little else.
yeah it should be fine on it; I just generally question Windows stability lately and things on it (using linux and macos (which is unix under the hood, so similar ideas as linux) has spoiled the hell out of me
yeah
also similar if you dont have the money to throw at a cheapo mini PC or used RPi if you like to tinker
I would love that they made an app like the MacOS one to "facilitate setup"
