at first i got
Error: Cannot find module '@buape/carbon'

then i go to %appdata%/npm/node_modules/openclaw and delete the node modules then npm i all over again but it still happened after i did my openclaw onboard
started to think its cause i use node v25.6.x

I got the same issue after updating to 2026.4.8

turn out the solution is simple, installing them as a global package

also need to install @slack/web-api
but this fix is kinda not convinient isnt it ?

When I wanted to use gemini flash models via google remote provider (not through local ollama), the I got the same error, I eliminated it on my Debian Linux box using:

npm install -g @larksuiteoapi/node-sdk
npm install -g nostr-tools
npm install -g @aws-sdk/client-bedrock @buape/carbon silk-wasm @slack/web-api grammy @grammyjs/runner @grammyjs/transformer-throttler nostr-tools
