#how hackable is that glass firmware
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
oh fuck Zuck
the easiest way to build into it having access to codebase was to integrate with the app itself
I left in the summer and havent worked with glasses code in a while but doubt it would change
currently called meta ai app - it bundles hardware companion app
(i used to work at meta)
Is the glass' Meta AI app extensible
not at all
well I guess worst case it has a decent integration with WhatsApp as it is Meta's own thing
so probably serviceable
also not sure, haven't played with it in a couple of years
yeah I think integrating via WA itself is the most viable option
it is a brilliant move. I was building my own chat UI/UX and then realized oh shit why not just existing chat app
sir what are you cooking here: https://intelligence.inc
it sounds very exciting
was looking into clawd-like features but not requiring macbook to run, obviously way more limited without access to your computer
Feel like a time for this
are you now taking the "just give it a VM/computer" route?
well I guess it would be quite expensive right? one VM for each user
my philosophy is to see the value and then optimize pricing 🙂
the current incarnation is just a server with a bunch of services connected per user, but I do think VM route is interesting
lack of imessage is quite limiting for a product in the US
Ah right... https://github.com/clawdbot/clawdbot/blob/main/skills/imsg/SKILL.md this requires it to be running on user's computer that can use iMessage
yeah, imessage is tricky cause apple is quite territorial about it
I also wanna think through what is the version of clawdbot that'd be useful to the normies and not nerds like ourselves 😄
the harness / product is equally important comparing to the model smarts
I think this would be very appealing
yes but a bit too abstract even for human
I was very much shocked that these connections is all it took
haha true true
something in this spirit I feel
nudge the user's life towards better direction every day
unlike our recsys algo
I was thinking about it quite a bit, nudging people is a seaparate topic I can spend hours talking about - it is hard even when it aligns with user intents
oh would love to hear! have you written about it anywhere
sign. guess always the easiest to indulge the 7 sins of the user huh
not really, chatted with some founders when we were exploring some ideas
