Try Minimax Token Plan 🙃
im on £20 plan :d
i'm finding it runs longer than nemotron
who's going to deal with this spammer
I want to go back to Deepseekv4 when I finally give up and just start paying for API lmfao
I've only used deepseek once, and i can't remember which one it was. i wasn't too impressed at the time
v4 flash was good for chatting and basic tasks when I got to play around with it yesterday. v4 pro is something I Havent tried yet but I imagine it to be fairly decent (especially for the cost)
Ban ban baaaaan
yes but using exisiting models - dont have the money to train my own orignal so i am running like forks of local models with frozen weights
😁
i’m working on a trading bot rn, lmk if anyone tryna get in n help
ah so finetuning then. good luck!
i use deepseek quite often. i once loaded $30 to it , 2 months ago i think, still has not run out despite running 2 agents non stop for website management and live chat support
Okay owl alpha is definitely longcat 2 stealth model. I just got this back from my agent that uses it
</longcat_arg_value>
</longcat_tool_call>
I feel robbed bro. I payed for this for a full year lol
And they have annonced they will continue to decrease prices
Xiaomi model is great too
The token plan are nice
decrease more ? i just checked and my average daily token usage is 45m and daily average cost is $0.24. I still have $12 remaining
It's more expensive than Minimax but a little better
Hey everyone,
I’d like to invite you to visit and test ExecutionHub.
It’s a self-funded DeFi project built to make swaps, limit orders and cross-chain bridging easier, clearer and more accessible.
Any feedback, testing or word-of-mouth support would mean a lot.
Thanks for taking a look. Just seach in X for @ExecutionHub_
They told so
45mtok is not bad
It was an official communication
i'd be on the street if i were running gemeni for this long tbh i have one phone app running gemeni api and it costs me 60% revenue per month from the app
They told they will continue decreasing prices when they will receive new Huawei Ascend 950 PR clusters
the best thing about deepseek is the cache hit pricing - its like $0.02/m i cant remember. thats why i am running it continously
And big context for the price
Even on Deepseek V4 Flash
It's just crazy to have 1M context on a model for 11cts / 1M
Hope it will stay at 1ct / 1M 😎
why are so many people saying OpenClaw is not safe?!
I'm interested. I'm testing out all models. Also I'm stupid AND cheap.
Gang, I've been super busy elsewhere. How is 5.18 going over? Seem good?
haven't up^dated yet but I will if you hold my hand
I sent the prompt
but like half of the times I have to start the gateway manually after updating 😄
again, i had to start the gateway lol
It isn’t safe for your sanity.
if you have to ask you don't understand why
I've told it like thousands of times. You guys have seen me telling them.
whyy
It currently isn’t stable enough for a painless experience out of the box. Unless you have the patience and will power of debugging, don’t do it.
If you’re up for a challenge sure. Have some fun.
Who think Hy3 will stay at this price level ?
owl-alpha has a potty mouth
Hey I am new here , People are suggesting not to use Ai on main desktop
any views, can someone guide?
since the last update (well i jumped 4 versions)
i am noticing slower responses with gpt5.5.
i typically used to see 1 emoji while claw is working, i have no idea what these other emojis are
I can't seem to post image here: but its eyes, hour glass, exclamation, wrench, brain, bandaid... ? i guess these are the stages of processing?
We dont know owl alpha final price
I run mine on my linux laptop
okay. i just said it had a potty mouth...
You mean If I use it in my windows, It will be safe to use
as long as you don't expose it to the internet, you should be fine
always run as local loopback unless you have a very explicit reason not to
you can also use cloudflare tunnels with one time code to your email, as i do
You mean I should Turn off research online mode / and should not make telegram bot something like that
and just use it locally offline tasks
right?
no, it can still reach the internet, but the internet can't reach it, basically
Its too confusing
oh got you , and it will compromise Some things but it will be then safe

by and large if you use loopback only, you're pretty safe right out of the box. as long as the rest of your system is up-to-date and not vulnerable to some other attack, you're OC is safe
Oh thankyou , I was not installing it from last 16 days due to security issues
and for RDP VPS , AWS takes a lot of money , and It will be hell for me to make a space desktop for openclaw and Now I am going to install on main thanks
only consideration to make is whether you intend to run local or cloud models
yes lol
if cloud models, you're good to go. if local models, you need to make sure you have sufficient VRAM
Oh , I will handle it
I am just overfeeded with AIs and Data , and technology
hope so openclaw make it clear for me
has anyone managed to get lossless-claw working with the anthropic models? Either using the claude-cli harness of Pi?
it was designed for anthropic models
i am having the issue of trucking along with opus 4.7, using claude-cli and then all of a sudden, it's over 1M token context and it resets and forget everything with no warning.
this is with the claude code Oauth
Hello guys!
Hi
How are you @scenic kayak ?
I'm great, what's new with OpenClaw
I'm looking for a powerful local model to run on Macbook Pro m5
Qwen I’d say
Want to get away from paying the piper but still hav decent agent tool capibilities. Hopefully someone has conquered this task.
Which one. I havd 24GB of RAM
w00t! $3k setup gig
Nice
I don't understand why openclaw joined up with X? I was banned from x for using openclaw + grok a pi to automate my account
Really makes O sense in my head
its in my head!
zoooooooombieeeeeeeeee
i love her voice so much, i get goosebumps when i listen to her
You have good taste
i hope so, used to dj for over 20 years 🙂
I mean it’s not really joined up… it’s just that you can now use Grok as the model for your agent
i dont see how your automated account getting banned has anything specifically to do with openclaw?
i dont do much mainstream music, theres bits and pieces i like, example tune i linked.
im very picky with music i listen to and music i play for others.
i don't play my music for others generally lol. they'd try to exorcize me
i was wondering recently, as a retired dj of techno, minimal, electro, psyprog.
can i create an app, ai driven that auto djs music, i would "teach" ai model on transitions etc
theoretically yes
love this song
i mean, in theory i know i can
the issue is, how long will it take to make it work as i expect it to work 😄
if you think that's not mainstream lol, I listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJ8hU-l09hk this lol
it depends on your methods, i would think
let me show you what i mean 😛
like, if you do something like what hermes does with self-improvement, it would be relatively quick. if you were fine-tuning models, you'd have to keep a constant feedback pipeline going, i think
peeks out from behind Gary Numan
lets start with chill and beautiful vocals
this is what i listen after a rave at home, to calm the mind
i'm into aggressive electronica and deathcore lol
it has its time but im more into patterns
i dig it. I listen to all kinds of shit, really, but those are my happy places
wanna know my happy place?
sec, i have so many folders with pre selected tunes, i really did dj for 20 years. did residency in london, played vinyl for 2k+ peeps on raves in london, played in clubs etc. it was a hobby, never felt like going hard on it really
right, this is one of my favs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h416G8V1mdU
actual landing on the moon, made into techno tune
epic
Roger
omg. all i can think of is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1aCB2hbMFg
the eagle has landed, i repeat, the eagle has landed
idk why but it sent me straight to Crystal Method
I was using cron and grok api with openclaw to automate my x account
it's good though
Yes it’s still forbidden to automate your X account
I dig it.
cheers
i tend a bit more aggressive
preferences, i dig it
as i said, what i dance to, isnt what i spin
i like to dance to more agressive music, i like to spin a "story"
grok just said that you can automate posts with mixpost and openclaw, but ofc no aggressive moves
mhm, you call this agressive?
i went tame!
its fine
idk who's actually looking lol
ok, so this is a taste of your preference?
KMFDM, Centhron, Nachtmahr, Unterschicht, but also Lorna Shore, Shadow of Intent...
i like stories told by frequencies
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBSOD0ACUlI
but also Horror Vacui lol
long time lsd and rave user 😛
"Hi, I'm on the Heyron hosted version. How do I get browser access for my agent? Also need help setting up Telegram. Thanks!"
Brad, you should ask support where you get your bot from, not here i think
i'm not used to discord - how do i do that?
where did you get that bot from?
not specifically openclaw. how would they know you use openclaw, they wouldn’t
that said, how can you trust bgot, you dont even know how to use?
dont you think it asks for a bad situation?
more about the fact that you automated / were probably suspected of being a bot
lol - I don't know enough t be scared
lmao
then you should be scared lol
you are one of them we see videos on youtube, why not to use AI
"guys I got hacked!" Lists 10 things completely unrelated
not trying to be rude, but you gotta do just a bit of research
im kinda happy im 50 this year. not much left to live.
i dont want to see what gen z does really, im out.
as we said it in the 90s...
someone stop this planet, i need to get out
i'll be 45
did you see those videos where peeps asked, what is quarter past 7 on a clock, most peeps said 7.25...
how will we survive?
I lose a little more faith in humanity every day
same as 9+9+9 is apparently 21
which is hard because i already had none
im not a freaking rocket scientist but im almost sure 9+9+9 isnt 21
Saw a video the other day where someone said the capital of France was Europe
you know, I can forgive the younger generation for not knowing like walk-mans and shit, but geography doesn't change quite like tech does lol
you do appreciate your the education you got, those times, when you were book worming, cos if you give a reply to your grandad, you get paid
Same it's a continent lol I fear we just talk about it as a whole to the point people forget it's not like Australia (being both country and continent)
yes, my grandad paid me for knowledge
unfortunately most people here in the US think America only means them...
im afraid its more than that. People are dumb
sorry, some Poeple
indeed
and what i like most about it is they have no idea and think they are absolutely correct when they're so wrong
France is the New Communist Federation
State take 75% of what you earn
No it's always like that
do you live in france?
Oh well then that’s your own fault
France's taxation system relies on progressive brackets for personal income (up to 45%) and flat rates for corporate profits (25%) and investments (31.4%). To understand your specific obligations, you can consult official breakdowns on the PwC Worldwide Tax Summaries, the Experts for Expats Tax Guide, or the Tax Foundation France Profile.
And for the end of the year they have to find 40 milliards euros and with the economic situation it will be more
For living there,
How do you live in France and wake up and look at yourself every morning?
How do you call yourself a man
he doesn't. he calls himself homme
how is 45% 75%?
When you witness a fight do you run in the other direction?
On 10 euros earned
20% of VAT
between 25 and 41% of company taxes
Local taxes and other
After you have to pay you a salary
40% of taxes on it
And after you have up to 45% "annual" taxes on income
How much is a baguette though? And a cigarette?
It’s all relative
Over here where I’m from it costs a whole lot more
Hey y'all, the Lostless Claw update patch is out! I know a lot of you were experiencing stalls with the latest release, so we've put out a hot fix.
https://github.com/Martian-Engineering/lossless-claw/releases/tag/v0.11.2
Under actual French fiscal rules, if a company director chooses to clear the corporate account by paying out all available revenue as a salary, the company's taxable profit drops to zero, meaning no Corporate Tax (IS) is due. In this real-world scenario, a €10 VAT-inclusive (TTC) customer payment is first reduced by 20% VAT to €8.33 net of tax (HT), and then further trimmed by 10% to €7.50 to cover local operating costs. Because the remaining €7.50 is entirely allocated to payroll, it bypasses corporate tax entirely and is split into roughly €3.40 for total employer and employee social security contributions, yielding a net salary of €4.10 before income tax. Finally, applying an estimated 20% blended personal income tax rate to that net wage leaves you with exactly €3.28 in your pocket. While the state still captures a massive 67.2% of the initial transaction through VAT, payroll taxes, and income tax, this represents the standard legal flow for maximizing personal take-home pay from corporate revenue in France.
Wait for next year election it might be worse lol
Quick question, if I run openclaw in Slack, can I use it cross device?
Now that my country we’re talking about 🙃
That doesn't make sense so tell me why it was banned? Even used grok api to scrape the x and for openclaw to do the posting
Listen, saying France has a 45% tax rate as if it applies to everyone is completely missing how the system works: that 45% is just a nationwide macroeconomic average, not a flat tax. It blurs the line between someone working part-time who pays zero income tax and gets government subsidies, and an entrepreneur or high earner who gets hit with the full force of progressive income tax brackets (up to 45%) and massive, uncapped payroll taxes. When you actually add up the VAT on your sales, the crushing social security contributions, and high-bracket income taxes, anyone successfully making a good living or running a business isn't paying 45% they are watching the state seize 60% to 70% of every single euro they generate to pay for everyone else.
It was said before LLM and that grok can tell by its pattern recognition since llm is easy to spot apparently
But think how much more expensive for me where I am explaining to my family that I’m gay because I bought baguettes and cigarettes
LOL
Someone hit my parked truck. Grrr
Sorry to hear h4td
Finishing my totally justified second margarita and headed home to install local models
Thanks man mourning the loss of my factory paint
CHEERS!! Drive safe.
"Wait for next year election it might be worse lol" => Hope really not but if it happens a lot of people and companies will leave. For big companies, just corporate tax is 41% so u get even less of 3.28€ on 10 if you add all other taxes...
The situation here is completly crazy. It's really communism.
Am I just missing it or do we not have an official "link" spot here? I'm looking for the link to the android app.
Broo I just updated an hour ago these mfs already got a new update out😂😂
Welcome back from time out
Today, we're introducing OpenClaw for Marketing.

︀︀This is truly insane:
They got me. 😦
Using free models?
yea move to hermes
look everyone another hermes shill
even with free models it was nothing but quick for me when i was working w them this morning. lol
What model do u use ?
I was gonna guess they were throttling the free models ....But i guess its something on his end
I was working with owl alpha for hours this AM.
If you're using openrouter/free then you may not get a tool capable model which means your messages are just sent back to the gateway instead of your preferred channel
Hey everyone, I've been using openclaw for a month or two, its been amazing with its many challenges which weren't unexpected. largely around memory and other multi-task or project requests. I just tried hermes today and was blown away by the differences mainly in that area. Has anyone else tried it before, whats stopping those features from being implemented into openclaw?
is mac app better than 127.0.0.1? lol
Does anyone have x-search or web search actually working with Grok OAuth/headless login? I'm on 2026.5.18, and it seems those only work when providing an API key.
not till 5.18 bur now it looks very clean
good to know, i've just been using localhost to debug if I need to lol
Can codex CLI just control my openclaw without me needing to go through the commands and stuff? Just asking out of curiosity.
Or Claude Code for that matter.
Yes I've had my codex do config things before I was trusting my openclaw to config itself
But I am wondering if it could do the basic configuration to start for example. Can it do that? The on-boarding foe example.
I'm sure it could
And if it does I wonder how it achieves it. Is it actually going through the onboarding? Or doing.something else?
probably manually editing openclaw.json
Just curious about how the mechanics work.
Right, I guess it's the way it would do it.
173B token on OpenClaw yesterday on OpenRouter, 459B for Hermes. Pretty sure there are some nice feature of Hermes to implement in OpenClaw...
Auto skill dev is just the Hermes feature i'd love to have on OpenClaw
Have your clanker write a skill for it
I had my claw do that for me lol
Hello 👋
Hello!
I asked my openclaw agent to do the most recent openclaw update itself while I’m away. After it promised me it was going to do it safely and securely. Now I lost my agent ; it’s not responsive in our comm channel . Any ideas what to do ?
openclaw gateway
I guess we don't like to talk about hermes in here? That does say a bit in of itself. This is all opensource hardware, no need to go tribal when we should all be working on technology together.
Calling people bots is kinda ironic in this brain-dead perspective some people seem to have.
Not sure that’s a command on telegram for the agent
You should check the status of the gateway in your terminal
Yeah this is one aspect that the openclaw devs need to work on: having the agent update. I've stopped doing it in general and I haven't had a problem updating manually since
I'm not updating my agent today lol
I'll admit I haven't tried it in a couple of weeks so maybe it has gotten better with the newer releases
My agent updates my OC regularly from git. It's possible.
When you ask your openclaw agent to update, what's the normal path that it takes?
I usually update manually . But thought it would be a good idea to have the agent update today’s update while I’m traveling 🤦♂️
Short version: Basically: checkpoint, update from source, replay local keepers, restore WIP, validate, restart/verify
That's why I have my openclaw installation on a Proxmox layer and I have a Cloudflare tunnel that lets me tunnel into my Proxmox from any browser. This way if I nuke it while I'm out traveling, I can restore it or triage it from any browser
I may have to steal this Flow. Thank you
I wonder what the default way is that they have the agent pulling the update that causes so many issues
lol OC just hit me with the Pinching… action
Brining was good but pinching is next level
5.18 for the win
Longer version:
• Treat upstream origin/main as the source of truth.
• Check current git state first, including dirty work and ahead/behind count.
• Create safety refs/backups before touching anything.
• Stash or checkpoint local WIP.
• Fetch upstream, then replay/rebase our local keeper commits onto fresh upstream.
• Reapply the saved WIP and resolve conflicts deliberately, preserving both upstream fixes and local work when needed.
• Run validation: install if needed, build, conflict-marker check, diff check, and focused tests when relevant.
• Restart OpenClaw only when required, then verify gateway health: pid, version, loopback bind, and RPC/connectivity.
Good to read changelog and such too. In case, you want/need to run doctor or migrate change something. But this usually works for me. Once in a while I have an issue, but it's usually because I stay on main, even when work is going on. Haha
Good to have a scars file too. So if your agent does something goofy, it will remember.
Live and learn. No more updates while I’m traveling
Thanks for the longer version. I was gonna ask but I didn't want to do too much lol
Grok 4.3 is becoming a really nice alternative if really unlimited
for 30$ / month it's not so expensive
I just linked my OAuth from my x-premium subscription. I'm trying to figure out where we go to find our limits with this thing
It's cheaper to take x premium or Grok premium ?
Thinking about making it my fallback model im currently I'm using Minimax for fallback . I already pay for a premium subscription so if I bump it up to premium plus I think it'll be worth it
I'm coding now with Minimax
I already pay for the x-premium subscription so
Minimax is good but not as an orchestrator. Goes off the rails
For me works fine
M2.7 has some great improvment
Impatient to see the M3
Hope for the same price
Yeah for $10 a month, the value I'm getting is kind of insane
Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the channel. I haven't started using OpenClaw yet and was debating getting a secondary PC dedicated to AI. That way I can test and play with OpenClaw in a safe environment. What are y'all's thoughts?
Hi and welcome. Yes it is better to give Openclaw its own environment if you can afford to do so
I have a Google API for Nano Banana for image gen so I have a good mix of models right now
Hows update 5.19 fairing for you guys? Smooth for me so far
Start with a container or a VM. No sense getting a secondary PC. I just have it running as a separate user on Linux.

if only i could afford that 😭 i can barley afford api creditsd haha
whats that
i already put the open router - qwen/qwen3-coder:free
free tokens and they cycle through
then opus 4.7 for last testing stuff
wait free tokens? how do i use it
you read
this is a masterclass! I have personally been doing similar manually for a while.
can you help me understand it
Ahhh the migration issues continue smdh
OC wants to run Linux specific commands and the switch to macOS is causing hiccups
Nbd I’ll limp through it I’ve got team viewer sitting on my sisters couch remoted in from my phone lol
@feral turret@inland apex can you help me understand this https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi
When a request comes in, an internal routing service decrypts your stored free-tier API keys and selects the highest-priority model that is both healthy and currently under its active rate limits
anyone using grok via oauth?
I’d feed to OC let it figure it out. Seems it routes to all the free APIs you can hit. OC could work it out most likely
whats OC?
Openclaw
original content
oh goodness thats so true, ill just ask openclaw to download it all for me!
i added it today ...havent used the model yet but using the Oauth for x search
Yea this looks like a free tier auto router basically
whats the process like? is it similar to openai oauth?
i.e. openclaw onboard --auth-choice openai-codex or somethin?
All i did was the openclaw onboard again and pretty much same process as openai
Alright time to head home and install local models and trip all over this shit for hours
Time to learn me some shit 💪
Also i might add i used my x account that had a premium account for my Oauth worked like a charm
and now i dont have to do the pay as u go method for x searches through the xapi
4.3 work?
ive got the 30$ supergrock account or whatever
x premium account gives u access to everything im guessing the limits are probably terrible lol but like i said im only using it for x search
u will def get more usage then me with that account
gotcha. i use xai api for things like my morning brief, web search, etc...
same now i migrated it over to the Oauth....i mean elon did lower the price of the xapi so it wasnt expensive but i was already paying for x premium so
and i have an nerdy lawn web app that ive integrated a little popup chat connected to an agent running xai
greatly exaggerated, ollama is like 10 minutes install tops surprisingly easy to run
i get OpenAi's angle for letting us use it woth openclaw because of petert but im interested to know what elons game plan is
i know he has tons of compute so maybe its just to get his model in more hands,,,,
yea it was already one of my cheapest api's i was using. i live about 45 mins from the datacenter, so try to support "local businesses", so i pay for the monthly account. honestly its my main "general AI"
what other models have u used to compare it
for stuff like every day "life questions", taxes, finacne, news, et al
im currently using gpt 5.5 so i know if not gonna top that but i dont know where it would currently rank at
i mean i use gpt 5.5 daily for my main agent. i use opus 4.7 every day at work
ah ok
i heard its hella fast and doesnt hallucinate much
for that $30 bucks a month do u get decent usage?
im guessing u havent linked to openclaw yet
yea i used the fast model to beat a bunch of women in a "womens history trivia" kahoot on our weekly company call a couple months back
so ur only doing chat bot right now?
yea i have the monthly account and use it with the app currently, and then throw $20 in api tokens in every couple months to cover my openclaw usage
For chat bots im kinda spoiled...bought google phone so have 2 years of free gemini pro so i have that premium and chat gpt premium
hm. i have a pixel 10 pro
this is perfect savings for u know for openclaw usage
wonder if i have that 2 years of gimini pro
yea exactly. about to set up the oauth and save the api tokens
i bought a google 10 pro fold and it came with it
does it have ot be from google? we got it through verizon
even gives u $10 a month in gemini api usage and that covers my random nano banana use lol
i got mine through verizon too lol
ooo found an email
u might want to check on that u may have it lol
"Unlock higher access to new and powerful features in the Gemini app, NotebookLM, Flow, and more to boost your productivity and creativity. Plus, get 2 TB of cloud storage – all included in the Google AI Pro plan. That’s a total value of $239 at no cost to you.1,2 Eligibility restrictions apply. Offer ends 10/31/26."
hahah there u go lol
$20 every couple months? how long does that 20 last if your only adding more not that often?
wonder if i can connect gemini to my nerdly lawn app via oauth to use it
they just updated the gemini app with 3.5 flash
i use gemini for image analysis for product labels and soil samples and weed identification
i use gemini as a 2nd opinion to chat gpt if im sus lol
I just got an email from Google about the limits changing
do you guys think this might be a good update?
id have to check. dont use it a ton
Yeah they screwed people, added a bunch of limits
and usage bars
Super
Malinge
that sucks. I dont use it all that much other than a fallback, but damn
god i hate how its all expensive, i feel like theres no cheap way to do this stuff
anyone with perms u should send that lowk
When i started i gave myself a $60 a month limit....Ended up spending hundreds a month with google until i landed on Chat GPT sub.....its the best value
im using claude opus 4.7 for testing last so for webs i use it to check everything out 1 last time, to actually make it im using qwen/qwen3-coder:free and also for checking i use https://validator.w3.org/
im not sure if its good thats why im trying to see the https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi to try and enhance that
Oauth all around for me exept still have google api still linked and thats just for image gen
@nova kindledo you think this is good?
I use openai api key for that. Multiple chatgpt oauth -> multiple Gemini oauth -> openrouter -> api key
I dont use Claude, so I can't really speak on it, but I try to use higher thinking levels with latest models for review
I usually use gpt-5.5 on high for final review
Same for planning phase. Actual work can be handled by lower level models when you have really good planning and spec
How much you paying on gpt oauth
https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi i want to use this but im confused on how to do it and my open claw is kind of spazzing out, its marking stuff i send to it as done without even responding i hate my life
$100 a month and i havent been able to use all the usage ...its perfect.,......however rn its currently in a promo for 10x usuage until may 31st its going to 5x usasg after that
$100 month with 5x compared to $20/month would be perfect for my usage. Maybe I’ll upgrade.
i may have to go up to the 20x plan if they dont keep the 10x lol
but then again open ai is always randomly resetting limits
so ill play it by ear when it happens
time period?
1 week
holy shit. i might break 2-3 billion
pretty easy if your tokens just go bomboclat
well, we all pay for that. The tokens won´t get refunded
wait you can send images?
I dont even know where to check that on the web Ui lol where is that
its an extra project for antigravtiy on github
you didnt miss it
ah ok lol
in antigravtiy, its looks like this
i feel stupid talking to ppl in herre
why so?
yeah why
why not 😭
right meow?
you are not meow enouff
funniest dad comeback
2026.5.19 Running like a champ
Is it just me or the bloody interrupt option of the queue is useless/bugged on Claude models? The thing goes all the way regardless of what I say
I think i just found a vulnerability in gemini 2.5 flash
fairly low severity, but interesting none the less
2.5
no, but it still qualifies for a bug bounty 😉
Okay, speak away

can someone give me the cheapest and best ai for coding like websites and discord bots?
try owl-alpha on openrouter. free right now. 1M context. 900B params
just don't be surprised if it says fuck back to you.
Hi all, can I use npm to upgrade my openclaw? Is it safe to use npm now?
LMAOO, you should see my crashouts when i used to make websites with gemeni
should be okay. i'm sure the maintainers have been keeping close watch on their deps
no sand worms here
what's weird about this is that it only happens in oauth. api key use isn't affected
This is not of any sort of severity, of course 2.5 is a bit outdated so I'm currently not going to do anything about that
Good finding though, A for effort
hey i said it was low severity lol
but if i get even $50 bucks from a bug bounty, it was worth the 10 minutes spent testing and emailing
if not, it was a fun experience and an interesting find
owl-alpha is fucking awesome
it is really good
Is there any openclaw plugin to replicate the “self-improvement” skill creation that Hermes agent has? I keep seeing these YouTubers and influencers go crazy about it and I’m kinda curious about it now, but I can’t really be bothered to set up a separate harness when openclaw works fine for me. I mean I could probably just prompt my agent to make skills right? But I was wondering if there was something more polished?
i haven't seen a plugin, but yeah the self-improvement is awesome.
Idk, I'll definitely tell someone to look at it
i would recommend plugging hermes into OC via ACPx
if you have the skill then you can just use it in openclaw. I prompted my agent to make its own self improvement skill. better to customize imo
Yeah at its core thats basically what the hermes self improvement skill is........One prompt away from adding that to your claw lol and its the top thing they lean on lol
Peter has said hes kinda against it because it just creates slop skills most of the time
i tried to take the best pieces of the OC architecture and the learning and memory of hermes and combine them into one of my pentesting agents
I told my agent to look at all of the self improvement skills on Clawhub and then it wrote its own skill lol
woo got my mini router built
pickles be killing it tonight
until everything reaking breaks lmao
We live in a awesome time....u like a feature from another harness ....no need to switch just ask u claw to build it lol i think most people dont realize that or the hermes shill check has already cleared lol
i know theres this thing called paio open claw lmao
but theres like 24 people in their discord and it isnt established
i'm tired i think i'm gonna take machine to bed and work till i fall asleep
vs. sitting at my desk until 2am like a cracked out zombie hitting my puffco
Sooo many clones but hey if one of them come up with something cool im down to grab it lol
the paio one promotes less credits used
i resemble that remark
but it dosent upload stuff straight onto your machine
i am pale and half bald and wearing ray ban metas i legit look like every meme imaginable
I've seen so many scams over the provider crap
hahaha... i'm fairly tan because i love the outdoors. thats one of the reasons i love OC and hermes. i can write a spec, have them build, and go enjoy my area's nature
i gotta start figuring out how to use oc for my actual job
i think i'm gonna start auto forwarding the salesforce tasks i'm assigned to the bot email and have it start working for me
i use claude cli heavy now
i gotta figure out how to automate hey here's the task here's claude here's what i tell claude do the thing
just don't automate the full pipeline and don't get lazy here you don't check and verify
my qwen/qwen3-coder:free thing didnt work very well, so i switched over to owl alpha
but already between claude and metabase mcp i have reduced my workload by 60%
yea verification is key. i'm a product analyst and work with huge advertising data sets so super important to get things accurate
so what's next build a server with a ton of ram and a graphics card to run larger local models?
me too lol. and claw is going to make it easier to manage my life so I can build. so much of my very limited energy is taken up by doing life admin bullshit and trying to remember everything I've got to do...
lol this was great

I legit chuckled as it started to explain it
here i sit broken hearted, as my openclaw gateway needs to be restarted
can you guys give me 4 free models to use for this https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi
nemotron and owl-alpha are the best 2 free i know of
owl-alpha 100%
you could create a couple of burner emails and sign up to a couple of oauth providers...
and then deepseek v4 flash free through openrouter/ollama cloud
but that's ToS territory
this is insane man every day i am blown away more and more by what i'm able to figure out here
what's good on ollama right now? i didn't see anything last time i looked
qwen is all the crazefrom what i've been hearing
gemma4, qwen, gpt-oss is available through cloud
i tried 4. i wasn't impressed
gemma4 is great as a local model for just chatting once I get through all of my gpt usage!!
gpt-oss 120B just isn't smart enough for me
my product manager sent me something on qwen today let me grab it
i'm torching through claude tokens trying to get this router working this might be an rip situation
interesting they only compare to claude and not gpt
owl-alpha takes a while to complete a complex task, but it usually produces solid results. and it runs forever
out of the western frontier models that is
it's funny to me that i have to constantly fix openclaw with claude
i'm gonna route all changes to openclaw right to claude cli
at the router level. save myself some aggravation
i am using owl alpha on my regular open claw but i want something to use for that repo like from 4 different providers would be fine too
i just need stuff that are good for code and stuff
I havent found any free coding models that would be 100% good as frontier
I had some good results with Own Alpha for a bit there
Besides owl alpha lol
yeah, that's a tough one. none of them are necessarily specialized for coding, but some can still be fairly capable
yeah figurte
Big Pickle in OpenCode is surprisingly capable
like i said owl and nemo are about the best two i've found free for code
nemo is nvidias one right?
yeah
alright ill check it out
I've used Nemotron a lot!
i'm looking forward to jailbreaking it. they have the whole security agent layer thing, i want to see how secure their model is
lol this router thing is not going smoothly at all
how do i get it though? the nemo
Who's your provider? OpenRouter?
a free one on openrouter
sorry i feel like thats a stupid question but im not really knowledgable
no bigs. everyone's learning
i learn something just about every day
and i've been dabbling in ai since the 90s
all i was doing in the 90's was building progz to phish aol passwords so i could create usernames on other peoples accounts and not pay for the internet
💅
this too. and taking over mIRC servers
oh my goodness let me send images 😭
wow the flashback i just got over mIRC

claude has been cooking over 20 mins now on my router holy cow
i might interrupt and be like uhhh bro?
@lavish crypt You can copy/paste the endpoint address and put it straight into OpenClaw.
so far my longest run is 1hr 26min
damn I wasn't even alive in the 90s lol
bruh i'm almost 40
44
still faking it till i make it
https://openrouter.ai/nvidia/nemotron-3-super-120b-a12b:free - ok so for this one i might get it its says its good for programming (#45)
https://openrouter.ai/nvidia/nemotron-3-nano-30b-a3b:free - this ons says 45 in legal so can i use for like legal contracts? and this is all for the github repo https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi
I'm 20 🫡 Lord help me lol
triple down on tech. invest your money wisely. find an awesome girl. don't sell yourself short. and take care of your body
I am the awesome girl 😎
find yourself an aweosme guy. all else applies
@lavish crypt
is this good @nova kindle what one do you think i should use if not these
I already know about the taking care of myself part, man I've been to more doctor appointments in the last 3 years than most people been in their life LOL. But thank you for the advice I appreciate it
24 min
yeah thats the one i use
just things i wish i did when i was your age!
Same
instead i'm playing catch up with a 10 year old child in tow
god i've been doing this shit forever
it's cool we don;t have to write html anymore tho
At least ur having fun......right
But I just beat a 28 year old in tennis tonight so I feel 30.
yea man i am absolutely at my peak rn
bro i miss those days!
htmlgoodies was my jam
javascript that had no real reason to run, but it did
endless nights. now it's openclaw. cursor was somewhere in there too
If I beat a 28 year old in tennis I’d feel so good about myself man! Doctors told me I shouldn’t be doing cardio!
goodness im like 30 years younger than half the people here lord send help
Oh no!
i miss the php vulns most
i remember when frames first hit
Most tech things I’m a great great grandpa.
and you'd put nav on the left and content on right. separate scrollers
POTS sucks. My openclaw makes managing the mental symptoms of it easier. The physical part is always tough, but I got it. Claw tells me when it’s too hot to go outside and when to cool down!! lol
my wife has POTS
27:40
My wife has tachycardia.
Get her on claw!! Will make life so much easier for repetitive shit that is tedious.
still cooking
Mine as well. I've been trying to figure out some ways for my agent to help her.
my wife has an attitude problem
@ember moth boom got r dun. thanks. successful day. was able to upgrade without major issues (from openclaw 4.23) and got xai oauth rollin.
I'm actually working on this for her. She's an avid gardener and i'm setting up automation for the greenhouse so she doesn't have to water as much
Brilliant
i've got multiple esp32 microcontrollers, light sensors, moisture sensors, rain sensors, humidity, temp, etc
my girlfriend owns a plant store and we are starting to grow a bit at home. greenhouse is next for us
Niceeeee 5.19 has been smooth so far for me
we just got our big polycarbonate one she's been wanting
how big?
10 x 16
dope. what are you guys growing
she does exotics mostly
hopefully the good stuff
we also have a tortoise we're going to grow for
awesome. i went way down the rabbit hole late last year with tissue culture. we're gonna start acclimating a bunch of super rare stuff

you guys reckon all of these would be good for https://github.com/tashfeenahmed/freellmapi
just had a turtle stroll up and lay eggs outside my home office yesterday
32mins on claude now holy cow
we had one on the property that was missing a foot. called him stumpy
took a timelapse https://vimeo.com/1193266164?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci
but i just got the wife an eastern hermanns tortoise
look at her shakin that thang
i dont see eggs
scared to go poke around in the d irt
I’ve talked about it here before but my claws first project was a website and web app to store data from my health coach agent I built for my family and friends.
you got the agent integrated into the app?
The claw agent is awesome. He thinks he is White Goodman from dodge ball and he has a sub agent named Me’shell that pushes to the site via an api we built.
I made a system to categorize calendar events for myself depending on how much energy it takes. My agent tells me how to pace my day accordingly. I can send
i added an agent to my nerdy lawn app: https://i.imgur.com/dGGs9Bz.jpeg
I have a project where i'm designing a smart watch os for this type of thing. i built an esp32 smartwatch and trying to scaffold the OS
We also built a site together. Http://werebetterthanyou.com
https://thesilencedsovereign.com/blog/work-units/ for anyone who wants this, this is free to use
idk if i'm gonna get this router working tonight. ollama token limit is low from what claude just told me and i'm way over with the tool calls. no idea what's going on. gonna try but i'm almost 50% through claude limits for now and i'm not staying up past midnight.
but damnit i'm gonna try
interesting. im going to give this a deeper look later
Router?
what is it exactly?
yea i'm having embedding requests handled by a small local model, simple requests handled by local qwen, then going to gpt-5.4-mini and then finally claude cli if it needs to depending on complexity of request
tldr: I'm physically disabled and energy isn't infinite for me, so I needed to make a system to basically, mathematically calculate my energy that I'm spending every day
Interesting
trying to save tokens and see what i can do with local models
if all fails i go back to running gpt models directly but i might as well try
idk if that might help or not
can this run with oauth?
but conceptually this is exactly what i'm trying to build
yeah it was. i haven't updated in a bit since all the openclaw changes, though
the new harness might fuck it up
if it tastes like toast, its an aneurism, not success
wise man
seek medical help
back in endless claude land
it's ok. deep breaths
i might end up having to put cursor on this
if i run out of claude credit lol
lol
57%
what are you running on for local models?
should go nomic > qwen > openai oauth > claude cli
i meant hardware wise
oh the mac mini m4 24gb ram
oh that's right
why don't you fire up ollama local and hit up some hugging face models and let them chug through the night?
I have the m3pro with 36gb ram so whatever models you can run I'll probably be able to run
ollama is running nomic and qwen
think i should just pull down one of the hugging face models and let it go ham
memory is chewed up 20gb cpu at 40%
like is it having issues at all? could you load another model?
gotcha. so probably not viable to load another
yea i think this bigger qwen is pushing it a bit
but it's not even doing anything
nothing responding. claude cooking trying to figure out why
idk. i don't have a unified gpu on my laptop, so i run lm studio so i can utilize vulkan to get it to use it
i'm a bit discouraged rn
installing the intelone api shit to get ollama to work was a biatch
but this is just openclaw i think. building the plane while it's flying
The router works fine in direct tests. The issue is specific to how the gateway calls it. Let me intercept what the
gateway actually sends:
that's such a good analogy
YAY!!!
"Sorry, I misunderstood your request. I didn't actually do a god damn thing."
alright, i'm out for the night. good luck man
yea pretty much that. responded to a message from 10 mins ago but nothing now
GN man!! always good talking to you 🫡
Now trying to download a Unity slop POS game that I had uploaded to google drive but forgot to keep locally...
womp
alright i'm gonna try and hyper focus and get this done so i can take a shower and go to bed. will report back if i'm able to get this working.
Not yet I'm still on 18
Same
I am
Is it stable compared to 18?
lol putting me to shame I only have one cron job!!!
Good release
why do you have so many? curious to hear the use case
I'm testing a bunch of stuff with markets ... I've been in markets for a very long time so right now I'm pretty much going wild with it and testing everything that I ever wanted to because there's no reason not to lol
And I'm doing a bunch of research
I checked my openclaw directory today and it was 35 GB uncompressed lol
So if something was broken in this release, I would find it pretty fast. I did find an issue in 5.18 and brought it to the devs' attention and they merged the fix within an hour.
Thanks! Any thoughts on pre-built minis, such as the Geekom A9 Max vs. custom Mini ITX builds?
The A9 is a bit pricier than I was planning, so I was thinking bout doing my own build and upgrading later.
I'm a super novice. I kind of know what API credits are, but not fully. Is that something you have to pay for each OpenClaw action or is it more for interactions with other things?
I'm running my openclaw right now on a mini PC. It's perfect for this type of instance: small, out of the way, and powerful enough for agentic use it just depends if you ever want to do local models or not.
Having unified memory is a real benefit
I am planning on running local models. I just wasn't sure if I should go expensive pre-built or cheap but upgradable custom build.
As long as it has a decent GPU and you can get to the RAM, it should be good
so an api credit is credits purchased from your api provider kinda, so basically if i generated an api from claude, then i have to buy credits for the claude system to actually work on openclaw, if i have no ccredits then i cant use it
Any GPU suggestions? I'm trying to avoid breaking the bank.
I am all for building small form factor PCs, it's my thang, but in the current market....it's easier to get a prebuilt mini-pc or something, IMO. That's not usually the case, but we're in strange times right now. Unified memory in a pre-built system is great for AI Inference
i do stuff on a 2013 imac converted windows, its honestly fine
Thanks. I think I'm going to need to look into this more.
can you get by with something like a 3080?
High VRAM cards, whatever your budget can stretch
Thanks for this feedback. Do you mind explaining unified memory? I'm further behind than I thought.
I have a 5090 on my gaming PC but you also have to start thinking about power use. You get these big cards so I don't use it for AI for that purpose.
whoaaa im using a nvidia geforce 775m and i can run a whole bunch of stuff and i do good in games 3080 would be good
Thanks for that. I've thought about pulling out my RTX 3080 from my gaming rig, but I don't want to downgrade my main system 😛
i definetly need a new system but i dont really have money to buy one 😭
Sure! Basically, you have RAM for your CPU and vRAM for your GPU, right? They have to talk to one another, hand off tasks and instructions.
Unified memory instead pools all of the RAM into one group, which the CPU and GPU can automatically assign as much/little as is needed, in real time. This is why you see so many people using Mac Mini's as their OpenClaw host.
Yeah in the beginning I looked at my gaming PC. I'm not really getting that much use. I'm like, "Oh I can just leave that on." Then I looked at my UPS and saw that it was drawing 220 W while I was on the web browser. I can imagine what it would draw if it's running a local model 24/7. Literally cheaper for me to use a GPT subscription. Lol
When local models get super efficient and smart maybe I'll think about running local but right now these subsidies on these subscriptions are too good of a deal
what do you run for subs?
Woah, I had no clue you could do that. If I build my own PC, am I able to set it up to have unified memory or is that difficult?
Yea, if I understand things correctly, I need to try and run local models and keep my data from going out into the world for stuff related to my job.
That's the issue. Right now there just isn't any infrastructure for DIY unified memory PCs. It's all in the commercial space. No one is selling that type of architecture as individual components. The market isn't there yet, anyway.
Yeah if it's for privacy then you have to do something like that if your company requires it but as far as general use me personally I don't use local models
Yeah the unified memory architecture is what makes Apple's computers right now so good for AI use
sheesh up to 80% usage on claude trying to fix this
Dang, any suggestions on pre-builts? I was originalyl going to try and keep my budget under 500, but I'm thinking about streaching up to 1k.
Do you have RAM right now? Because 32 GB of RAM will take your budget up 👀👀
Fair enough. With local models do you have to pay API fees or is that for running non-local models?
Market for building computers right now is brutal
no API fees for local models. you just run your shit on your hardware
Local models are free if you can have the hardware to run it. They're free to run. Your cost is the upfront hardware cost.
What kind of stuff do you want to do?
I found a random pack in my storage the other day. Its either a 2 pack or 4 pack of 16GB Trident Z Neo sticks, so somewhere between 32 and 64gb.
Oh HELL yeah
Thanks for this confirmation!
np. I love local models and wish they were smarter so I could run them more. lol
Phew lol
Lucky you!
probably would be smarter if I had dgx spark level hardware to do shit with!!!
I'd love to have something like that...
I'm just learning for now, but my goal is to setup a 24/7 research assistant.
there is a guy on X who has a DGX spark and I swear is a hermes agent shill.
I'm down to help you. DM me.
And that's the thing: even with DGK Spark you can run the model but the tokens per second are so slow it will probably drive you insane. We need these local models to get even more efficient
I have an autoresearch skill on a cron job lol
Oh really? Interesting
Lol, it was from when I got my first big boy job and upgraded my first PC build. I managed to get a 128gb pack for $450ish. Ah, the good old days.
Yeah we look at these YouTube videos and all these creators talking about this hardware. When you actually run it, you gotta have beefy GPUs so it can spit out those tokens per second. It can load the model but it's slow as shit.
That's why Apple's hardware is so good: great GPUs and a bunch of unified memory
my uni has an 8x cluster of A100s lol. I have been tempted to run something on there...
Sweet! I'll have to remember that once I actually cave and buy a secondary PC to run it.
ew 50s response time with qwen because of 87 tool calls wtf
I wouldn't be able to resist lol
I'm also down to help with skillmd etc
The only reason I have been resisting is that I don't have docker container access to the cluster yet and have to wait until my formal-methods-and-AI research project commences lol
That sounds cool. Whats cron?
I see you have a plan lol
automated jobs by time or event
Thanks I sent you and @upper ermine a friend request.
that I do! first research mtg with my advisors is tomorrow very exciting
mtg... I'm guessing that doesn't mean Magic the Gathering here, right?
meeting, I often abbreviate things to make it easier to type (fatigue/hand injury)
Gotcha, I just assumed I was behind on lingo.
We could use an AI Agent Terminology Cheet Sheet, couldn't we?
ok we are up but qwen is making it feel sluggish so going to use qwen for background tasks and lean into mini for common chat
That could really come in handy
we should make one!
whatever. at least we are up. i'm ready for bed.
goodnight!!!
Just checked with my agent. Still no errors on any of my jobs. This is probably the most stable release since 4.23, not one error so far.
So good I took a proxmox snapshot to lock it in 😂
90% claude usage 59 mins till reset
can i make it?! will i be up all night?! only time will tell!!!
Your job is to not make it ..... Get that money's worth.
ok this is valid
92%
Morreeeeeeeeee
Could be fun!
What's ur fallback model?
dang almost 2 minute response times on qwen what in the literal heck?
shouldn't it be fast?!
I'll DM in the morning. could be a nice repo
You running it locally?
Please do!
i'm routing from qwen local to gpt-5.4-mini to claude cli depending on complexity
or trying to. and yes, running qwen locally
are you perhaps running qwen3.5 1623523523B on an NVIDIA GeForce GT 320M with 512 MB of VRAM?
What kind of hardware? Kinda proves my point from earlier.
Local slow ....pain bad lol
i'm running on a mac mini
model, specs?
so this isn't going to help me then. womp
m4 24gb ram - brand new just got it yesterday
Yeah are you running a larger model for your RAM? How much RAM do you have?
what qwen version
how many params
Yeah you gotta make sure you're getting the model of qwen that fits how much RAM you have. Can't just throw anything or I'll go super slow. Got to get a quantized version.
qwen 5:14b
qwen3.5:14B doesn't exist, you might be using an unofficial GGUF or model which is why it might be going slow
a good model for your specs would probably be rico03/Qwen3.6-27B-Claude-Opus-Reasoning-Distilled-GGUF with q4_k_m quantization
fits comfortably in your 24 GB of RAM & high quality distil
or if that is too slow you can go with the good old gpt oss
with what harness do you load that
thanks for the tips i will def look into it
llama.cpp or ollama
i'm just trying to get something running locally beacuse i've never done it before
i personally use ollama
ollama is goated
oh my goodness this is killing me
i wish i never went down this LLMAPI rabbit hole now i cant stop 😭
what are thoughts on codex cli vs. claude
Welcome to the 0.001%
its hurting my brain
That's just the new information saving. Stand by........
Pain is just weakness leaving the body, as the US Marines say. But is it also intelligence being imparted....
no it wont work
In six months when we have AGI, you're going to be ahead of 99.9% of the pop
I don't think AGI in 6 months. 2-3 years maybe
Give yourself more credit. You're already here
whats an agi
Early 2027 at the latest, I think. These models are starting to get to a point where they don't have to be trained. They're training themselves. When we cross that threshold, everything is going to speed up.
Artificial General Intelligence
Artificial General Intelligence basically the end game for AI ...... Terminator movie vibes.
interesting
Loading bar at like 65% rn imo
I'm saying guaranteed AGI Q2 2028 by the time I graduate college. But I wouldn't be surprised if we are at agi now
God knows what kind of models these companies have behind closed doors
looking like i'll be up all night wonderful
maybe this article will give you a shout https://openai.com/index/model-disproves-discrete-geometry-conjecture/
Yeah I saw that and supposedly they're using GPT 5.6 behind doors to do that and we're getting that next month. Things are about to get crazy. .... We thought we were living a tech lifestyle with supercomputers (i.e. phones in our back pocket). Now everyone's going to be walking around with superintelligence at your fingertips.
claude somehow pointed me at gpt-5.5 eating up all my credits there too ahhhhhhhh this is not going well
Well at least for the people who are early to AI, it's going to take a long time for mass adoption
OH GOD YESS ITS FINALLY GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
How is GPT using your claude usage? Claude is scheming lol
this krill bot is doing me good now
I think if this is 5.6 then gpt6 is going to be fuckin awesome
gpt6 will be agi mark my words
I hope we get GPT-6 before GTA 6
It's so good to have that help section have Krill walk you through things
100%
opus 5 will probably be agi as well
na claude is using my gpt. i was working on my router and it somehow pointed me to 5.5
collusion at its finest
Smh lol
i want to learn python and css and stuff but its too hard and i need an engaging way to learn
Anthropic just needs to launch mythos already
I think Mythos is 5.5 level
ive learnt html and semantic html or wtv it is but i never learnt accessability and stuff
I'm pretty sure I'll get crucified for this but it's kind of pointless to learn that stuff now. Learn how to use AI tools
WCAG?
i do use it
huh?
i think i'm gonna have to freaking upgrade to $100 openai anyway
Sorry I'm too AI-pilled lol
fml i knew i was going to end up in this situation
freaking $200+ a month in ai subs smdh
I'm one of the only AI pilled people in my friend group and it's ridiculous that they only got on codex after I told them and they use free plan only!!
At this point you have to ask yourself a question. Do you actually want to complete the work or take a step backwards with a cheaper model? Probably cheaper to just walk forward. Lol
i usedto make websites with gemeni but i want to learn how to enhance it, i came to openclaw but i feel like its cheaper other ways, one being especially coding yourself, but its too hard and time consuming
🤔
so upgrade and rock 5.5 is what you're saying
instead of running in circles with 5.4-mini
Yeah that's my thing. By the time you learn all the aspects of coding, another light year has passed in AI time. I understand why people still want to learn how to actually do it. I just feel like that time is passing.
me too. first principles is good to know but real work is done by the AI at this point
In the beginning I tried to be super cost-effective but all it did was have me running in circles, burning tokens with inefficient models, using pay-as-you-go. Now I can guarantee you you'll get your work done on that $100 subscription. What's better? What do you want more?
yeah i just know ai isnt as good aand its easily noticible unless you know ai properly, i honestly liked making with gemeni but i definetly think that coding is something ai will take over in like 10-20 years
Time for some self-reflection lol
10 or 20 months
nah i feel like the point where big tech companies will replace humans with ais for code will be longer than that, ytou have to keep in mind, ai isnt the best at the moment
its good but humans who understand it are way better than having ais at the moment
But here's the problem with that: AI can create code at an incredible pace but you won't be able to cash in on that pace if you have humans manually reviewing it. That's what's going on now. Once AI gets to a point where the code is rock solid, it will be creating code at such a pace it's not even feasible for humans to review. That's when human coding goes away.
And that is accelerating month by month
true i dont know if im right but im pretty sure that they are already using ai to check their code
ok as soon as i hit my short term limit i upgrade to $100 sub i guess
Yeah we're so early, no one knows but that's just my take
fml
Your life is great
If you even have the option to go up to $100, you're doing pretty good
I think the future of AI is collaborative intelligence. there are going to be things that AI is better at than humans and things that are humans are better than AI at. true superintelligence is going to be comparing/contrasting/combining those things to create the ultimate knowledge weaponry
And what a time to be alive, to watch it all go down
man I'm so glad that I can be anywhere near the frontier it's a goddamn blessing to be alive
Hi, Mistral in Openclaw https://forge.darkforges.com/#openclaw/mistral/mistral.md
If you're trying to use gemini-3.5-flash with google as provider, make sure you have done: openclaw config set models.providers.google.api "google-generative-ai"
otherwise it fails silently sometimes.
Also, gemini-3.5-flash with openrouter as provider fails sometimes in weird ways - when I'm doing turns involving MCP/tool usage, sometimes it never finishes the turns. So use google directly as provider for now if you're using gemini-3.5-flash.
well this turned into quite the rabbit hole sheesh
The night is still young lol
Yeah it's only 9:30pm here! the night is so young lol
Yeah yeah sureeeee
1230 here
It's been a couple of weeks since I had a 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. openclaw night.
i havent done anything like that since cursor first came out and i was building pottytimeapp.com
My openclaw and I are laughing at an Instagram photo that just came out of me from a showcase I presented at.
Those four to five AM nights are when I would break my open claw and it's before I had my codex subscription so I couldn't use codex to fix it. I was trying to fix it myself by using Gemini chatbot to guide me. Such a shit show. Glad those days are over.
codex and claude have both been struggling to fix my oc tonight
i broke it trying this router experiment. should've been explicit not to implement until we ran extensive testing
live and learn
about to switch to teamviewer on my phone i am getting very tired lol
Keep working lol
keeping giving claude the ok until i pass out
isnt this what agents are for
LOL yes.
Later on yeah but in the beginning it's a lot of sweat. Human sweat
I can't wait until I can caffeinate my agent and myself and keep working all night long
it was almost 100 here today there's been plenty of sweat
ok time to close the laptop brb
Like today was kind of peaceful for me. Didn't really prompt my agents too much. Updated the openclaw and added the grok OAuth. Other than that not too much, nice and calm. You'll get there.
lol what else do you have?
You can soften the blow by having multiple openai accts if you don't think you'll use $100. It's the same linear pricing up to $200 anyway...
I got there today!!
Damn I signed up for free Grok I need to get it hooked up. Anyone used the models other than media/tts?
Nah so far I just used it for the X-Search. I haven't tried the model yet
gn all
Boooooooo lol gn
gn!!
I've kinda used it, mainly to do some testing
What happened with the voice channels, like a month ago there was like tens of people at this time, is it cuz i dont see em ?
Whats the most powerful open source tool you’re using in your stack like the oh shit this is a 10/10 and I use everyday now?
it counts, and probably only 1% are using it, it's a good one, looking more for like oh shit (like opendesign when I first used it) but also computer use was that for me first I used it, now I've got my agent running 10 different browsers and on my phone 😮💨
i main pi, but i have my i use acp with codex to get computer/browser use
dude yeah codex computer use is goated
I also ran actionlint across all workflows. It found one unrelated issue:
.github/workflows/windows-blacksmith-testbox.yml:199 has constant if: ${{ false }}
gg sentinel-ci
does anyone know why my openclaw whenever i send a message to it itjust sits there and thinks and never answers
@clear haven
im using llmapi
i even tried doing /healthcheck in browser and it didnt work
Much easier asking there, thanks Json for also pointing me there!
ok but how much does it hit your tokens?
Hey everyone. I've been working on this project that is basically like a Matrix for Claws. I'm having a bit of trouble getting them to consistently and continually play. Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be improved?
Prompt them consistently and continually
Also they need to have something new to do otherwise eventually they decide they're just being noisey and start replying no_reply by their own accord
I've got them running a heartbeat for the game
I don't know how complex your heartbeat prompt is, but if it doesn't invite action they often prefer to do nothing
They're lazier than me, I swear 😜
Use the new SDK seams and build your own heartbeat plugin
Current internal prompting and lane design for heartbeats haven't been updated in months and are highly regressive and low quality
Build a quick crontable like plugin for your agent to manage that just nudges it and it will be 1000x more effective
it could even be as simple as a nudge "continue" every X minutes and it will be better than the current hb system
Thought about this. But I am trying to make it somewhat agent agnostic so other harnesses like hermes etc. can also join in
That's really easy! We're talking about a plug-in that connects to a Google Sheet.
Just build a table.
give each agent a tab with todo's and task states/etc a tracker, can also do like a kanban type tool, I've found agents prefer issue style > stage > etc and kanban works well for that
I don't use the current HB system, I have an external app that provides a more directed heartbeat via prompt through discord 🙂 It also allows me to see them take the heartbeat
Is there a place to ask questions that are slightly related to open claw but not exactly? I'm looking at tandem browser but since it's very small there isn't much information on how to use it/connect it in general. I'm new to open claw and AI too, but if anyone could direct me somewhere that would be very helpful!
(Also anyone that knows any guide for making OpenClaw secure on Ubuntu would be appreciated)
I was actually building a "Yes I want" plugin that would automatically answer gpt-5.4 models with "yes I want" whenever it asked "If you want", but then OpenAI released GPT-5.5 which doesn't do that 😂
its actually not a 5.4 bug
we found it was a harness bug and prompt bug, AND agent md conflicts
Really? I see it in co-pilot too 🤔
5.4 works great contrary to most peoples early experiences
Would you mind taking a look at the project and recomending what would be best?
I use 5.4 > 5.5 subagents
I am switching to local subagents so I can lower my OpenAI subscription tier to Pro x5 instead of x20 🙂
tbh I'm not interested in those kinds of things but it reads cool. I'd love to see instead of these social network agent places someone recreating simulations where you can put agents in and simulate markets or businesses or dynamics lol
Did those two bugs get resolved?
yeah we have a whole 5.4 prompt harness fix in OC lol
I've never had issues agents going 100 turns but that's also a skill/prompting thing
Nice, I'm now using 5.5 fulltime, and it's fine tbh, but it's good to know the most annoying 5.4 behaviour has been resolved 😄
Maybe I can switch back to 5.4 when I downgrade to a lower tier sub too, and only use 5.5 for when I really gotta deep dive something hard.
holy fuck no one hangs out in voice chat anymore huh
3am usa isnt it?
I need my agent to fetch google images. What tool is best for it? So it doesnt run into Captcha?
Hey guys, switched to NanoClaw after OpenClaw got a bit crazy with its tool usage and weird behavior (as was probably addressed on April 29th's post). Now that Anthropic is changing the usage model, I switched nanoclaw to codex and it's much worse. Should I move back to OpenClaw?
Openclaw ran through my codex usage very fast
Yep, that's what made me rethink
But what are you using then? Because Anthropic is changing the model and it's going to become way more expensive to run agents
I’m currently in the process of trying to move it to either GitHub copilot or Gemini (I pay for all three 🤷♂️)
Is it going to feel the same though?
I don't know, I'm very frustrated with agents right now
The OpenClaw installer requires sudo privileges, right?
I got an error when running the installer as a non‑sudo user, Would it be okay to temporarily add my user to the sudo group, run the installer, and then remove sudo access again once the installation is complete?
I’m not sure about this, I don’t remember using sudo? Which install command are you using?
I don't know if it's a problem with my model or something else. I feel like sometimes my agent forgets what it just said, for example, just now I asked it to plan something, and I thought it was good, so I let it execute, but it replanned and then executed again.
Don't know if anyone encountered a similar situation when updating from version 5.18 to 5.19.
i'm using openclaw's official installer https://openclaw.ai/
curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh | bash
Anthropic allows subscription again via Claude Code CLI, so that's an option.
But Codex Pro x20 is pretty generous, I've not once gotten my weekly under 50% 😅
Admittedly I'm only running one agent full time, my brain is the limit to managing more than one 😛 and I still want to be kept in the loop to see what it's outputting
